"We can take care of them, they arn't smart enough to take care of themselves" I think its insulting. I started my own business, I paid my own way through school. I don't need some trust fund kid telling me how the "real world" works.

Whoever wins the election is in big trouble anyway. I am voting McCain/Palin, however, part of me almost hopes they do not win knowing the situation they are headed into.

Obama/Biden simply gave me more concern when thinking about voting for them. Because I am from the south, some have played the race card, but that has nothing to do with it. I kinda think a Rice/Powell or Powell/Rice ticket would be a future ticket worth looking at. But, the race card is a concern, not from my point of view, but from theirs. BLT Theology, and the Black Trinitarians disturb me quite a bit. Something which he has disavowed only a short time ago, and then only after it became public. How could you participate in this for an extended period of time and not believe in it? Would you sit and listen to a pastor espousing things that you believed were wrong? Let alone sit and listen for years? Would you vote for a white man that signed something similarly dedicated to white people (first link below)? Imagine if McCain or Palin has signed something similar, just substiture the word White for the word Black each time. Would you vote for them?

I think they are both absolutely horrible. An old man who is out of touch and shows poor judgement...who will only get older....vs. a young man who has never run anything in his life and does not have any experience leading a country, especially during a time of war and a depression.

Truely depressing.

There is always the RON PAUL write in option. But, hey when you only have a choice between two almost identical parties what do you expect? IMO the American public will be at the mercy (if there is any in politics) of corporate yes-men until they realize that REAL people, like Jessie Ventura are the ones that will SAVE the country. All democracies were more honest when farmers, small business owners and the general public were it's members...not suits with no clue what is going on in reality.

Ted Nugent for president. If you've ever heard him or read his books. He gets it.

Ted White and Blue is in my truck now, probably read it in the next couple weeks. With the Matt Damon video, it was entertaining, but reading the comments underneath was even more so.

That one I had seen before. I'm sorry, but if you listen to the woman speak and I mean anything other than speeches or scripted comments written for her, there is no way a thinking person could possibly be impressed. I mean DUH!!!!!! There is no way I can vote for a guy who is old as dirt and will probably have to be replaced by someone that stupid. I am not happy with any of them but she was the deciding factor for me.

my feeling out of the whole situation is i honestly dont want Obama to be president, but i really dont want McCain to lead either, and i'd apply for Canadian citizenship if Palin was put literally a heartbeat away from the role

Well, I think we can all pretty much agree that none of us are truly happy with any of the main candidates.
