Yeah, GM's post. How many lines of inappropriate did he cross? I don't need to tell you a lot of minors play this game. Hell if I wasn't just a cynical asshole it would bother me. I know a lot of people my age (~30) that would have been shocked by that, much less the audience of this game. The lock was deserved.

Are you kidding me? Graphically talking about torturing/killing someone like that and doing it to someone's family? forget the family threat...you think that type of storyline is appropriate? On a public forum? Where kids are active members? Really??? How old are you??? I've been active on the internet since 1996, and I have NEVER seen a post like that in a public forum. I'm sure it happens, but not in this environment.

If you want to tell someone to $uck my ____, or I'll ____ you up, or whatever...that's fine. GM crossed so many lines of public forum behavior. Hell he crossed so many lines of mental health behavior it's ridiculous. I'm glad someone is keeping an eye out for stuff like that, while the general trash talk goes by. There's no place for that in a public forum, period.

If something like that has happened before, it should have been locked/deleted as well. If you want to say something like that, PM it, then deal with it.

My peev is picking that particular thread to lock out of all the terrible things I've read in some others.

There are literally threads in this forum with nothing but posts similar to that one, maybe no quite as "gruesome". Plenty of racist and sexual offensive things however. Why can't the MODs/ADMINs just delete his post out? seems logical instead of shutting down an entire thread that the rest of us were enjoying.

I just want everyone in BBB#1 to be well aware and be on your toes, next thing you know we'll all be banned.

If you feel posts are inappropriate, say something...don't wait for mods to find it. You're either fine with them or you object. I'll fix the politics thread. The format won't be perfect, but it will work if you care enough to read it.

...and I have to say you're wrong...bell got a temporary suspension but he's talked a lot of trash. Hell...bell vs. Frisky is still an ongoing monumental battle. BBB#1 has trash-talked as long as I've been here.

But I've never seen a post like that...even from Bell. Bell is a crazy competitive trash talker who might be 17 or something. that's fine. I'm a white boy who can't jump that plays pickup basketball in DC...I've heard trashtalk you (or even Bell probably) couldn't believe.

That post by generalmills had no place here.

The politics thread was right to be locked. If I had seen it earlier, I would have locked it and suspended GM for his post as well. And don't take the CPL attitude of "we already have a mod," because all mods and admins have a right to be on this board doing what Bort has asked us to do. I fully support the action that Blaine took.
