Hello everyone, Just wanted to say thanks for all of the interest and give out a heads up about where I'm at if you're still interested...
Long story behind the blurb in my OP: Dizzo's been with his present team since he got hauled outta the D-leagues. They've always been pretty bad, but I've been loyal. We got a new owner this year who took over a bad situation and has been trying like hell to make it better, and he has. But, until recently, that was still pretty bad. I started getting curious about what else is out there. I got a little ahead of myself by posting the ad one beer-induced curious evening.
Which, is where we stand now. I've received interest from a lot of teams. The vast majority has come from genuinely good teams that really pique my interest on a superficial level (of looking at W/L, chemistry, stadium, etc). I've responded personally and directly to some, mainly based on if I had the time to sit down and respond personally to 5-10 at a whack.
While I may not have responded to everyone yet, and I'll get to rest that I should this weekend, I intend to. I HAVE checked out the team for everyone and sniffed around for more details for many. For the rest of the season, I'll just be whittling away and watching how they progress, personnel-wise and playoff-wise. Really the only thing that CAN be done right now.
So, again: THANKS for the interest, for sure. Sorry if I haven't gotten back to you quite yet personally. I should, even if it's only to say 'no thanks, but thanks'.
