Agility/ speed first at least you'll get open. If not have fun waiting to use those other skills. Trust me.

I'm making two WR's now. One will be all out speed, and the other will be all out jumping/catching. I'm not even going to bother with vision. It will be a nice comparison of the two builds.

Believe it or not, slow WR's can still get open without super high speed.

I'll be honest, this idea sucks and I am glad I caught it in enough time to fix it.

Speed receivers with speedster tree works better.

You need hands to catch passes.

you vision increases your catch radius and allows you to adjust to the passes.

Link to that from Bort? I've yet to see any noticeable gain from 30+ vision on a WR, and have always understood that it is the catching attribute that increases catch radius, not vision.

I'd love to see a comparison in two WR's that were slow built the same, one with soft capped vision and the other with around 20 vision. I'd be willing to bet that the receiver with low vision would perform better due to those SP's allocated to other attributes that affect performance to a greater degree.

Fail.

That's nice and all, but Bort said nothing about it increasing the catching radius of a player. It may allow for a split second of adjustment to a poorly thrown pass, but that's about it. Perhaps our idea of a catching radius is different, but mine did not include the player moving for the less than a second the ball is in the air.

Bort has a habit of saying Vision pretty much effects anything, but I've seen the contrary when it actually comes to playing, especially in the case of HB, WR and K. WR's with little or no vision on my teams have done as well or better than those with capped vision.

In my experience, catching and jumping skill carry much greater weight in the catching ability of a receiver. I'd still prefer to add points into those and simply train vision as opposed to wasting SP's soft capping it. I know for a fact that this will make a better performing receiver.

I know. You're just making assumptions based on a post rather than actually watching plays.

I agree just saying vision will help
