Here's the gist.....
I've been basically walking on eggshells with the guy all season long. He keeps saying a championship is the most important thing, but then makes little selfish remarks all over the place.
On OTR each season I do a build bible where I post an advised training ritual for each player over the course of the season, as well as what to do with boosts, and subsequent level-ups. Take it or leave it, it's your player, and I state that when I post it. He fires back with a PM saying, "just so you know, I don't appreciate people telling me what to do with my players". I should've known then.
This is a player that is so full of himself that he won't even open his build to the team owner because he's afraid people are "trying to steal his equations".... Are you kidding me? This guy is so backwards that he trains his soft-capped attributes, and puts his SP into things he should be training. This is a guy that until 3 days ago had over 10 equipment points tied up into stamina...... STAMINA!?!?! Then, at my request, he redoes his equipment and boosts, but doesn't spend any points on stamina to make up what he took out of equipment, and is now a lvl 32 HB with 27 stamina... Yes. This guy is freaking brilliant.
The fact is, he's succeeded for two seasons on two teams that set him up for success. Two of the best OL's in the league, and two teams that were balanced, or favored the run more than the other top teams. Yeah Unsaid, you've got the game in your pocket. That's why you led our team in being tackled for a loss. When you broke it, I'll give it to you, you broke it big, but play in and play out, Cooter is more reliable. We'll hardly miss you.

And yes. This whole thing basically came about over Unsaid saying some bullshit about having secret equations. When players on our team asked him if he'd help them with their builds, he started attacking some of their players that weren't even on OTR. Then, the moment somebody (bell) said something back to him, he immediately resorts to "well then just trade me, I can't play with him because I don't like him".
No Unsaid. You can't play with anybody, because I gave you a chance to be traded to a solid team, and you told the owner that you didn't want the deal because Mathwizcory was on the team. Sorry punk. You messed up, now deal with it. Your beloved player can rot on the OTR pine for the rest of the next 2 seasons. Enjoy it.

I have had to deal with some problem players in the past and it's not fun.
you were smart to lock the forum right away and have your players lock theirs builds and such. I recall my 1st season as a GM, one player who didnt like being a backup sent our gameplan to our opponents for a few games.
hopefully you didnt cash him out too much.
