Thanks for the compliments folks. But seriously I think we should be around 6-8 in rankings with the lost yesterday.
I would take the blame for our team loss, because I didn't have the situational input correct on that last drive 4th quarter. It's always an exciting game with Fremont, and I enjoy watching us play them. Even though it will give me a heart attack!!
I said this last season that the western conference is getting very hard with teams rebuilding during the off season with higher levels. I applaud you folks for recruiting high level players, because a lot of people around 29-30+ won't accept anything these days if your in BBB.
FA's think being in BBB isn't competitive, but I think they need to come to our league specifically. I honestly think a lot of the top teams from both conferences can take on AAA or even some Pro teams. Teams on those tiers just don't know how hard it is to compete in our league, or it could just be me.
I would like to personally say Mahalo for making my head and eyes hurt looking at game replays.
To all the teams in our league...Good luck throughout the season.
Island Shaka Brah's ManagementI agree 100% with everything you said here Kakseca (except the part about ISB being 6-8th place, lol no way no how, you guys should be in everyone's top 3 list).
My List:
1) Freemont (its my team, what do you expect)
2) ISB (playing this team gives me gray hairs)
3) Tulsa (just inches behind the top 2, major threat)
4) Caps (gotta give credit where it is due)
5) Boston (just one step behind the Caps, but behind non the less)
After that things get complicated with Walla, Lickers, Bowling Green, Apps, etc. The only thing keeping the Lickers out of the top 5 is there chemistry. Once they get it raised up, we will see what they are really capable of and I think it will be devastating, they are already easily #6 on my rankings and everyday their chemistry goes up it just gets worse for those that have to play them. I feel sorry for the teams that play them at the end of the season compared to those teams who faced them early on. Freemont plays them next and it could very well get nasty.
Honestly the top 5-6 teams are so damn close together in comparison that the "any given Sunday" thing is very relevant.
