Prove it, chart your coverages and use the new spreadsheet.

Same goes to you. This is an amazing tool and it's severely under utilized. Charting your coverage isn't hard. It takes me 20 minutes to do an entire team after a game.

That was actually my point. It's very little time invested and it puts every type of corner on the same platform. There are several, like mine, that don't show up on stat sheets, yet excel in man to man coverage.

I just had a game where my CB had the WR beat in every single attribute category(He left his build open) except for catching, where my CB had 20 and the WR had 48. He still got about 80 catches for 80 yards on me. I always stuck with the WR until the ball was thrown and then my guy lost him. My CB was level 18 and the WR level 17. any ideas on why this happened?
CB-70spd 50agil 48vsn 22jmp 20str 32stam 20catch 2-1-1-1-1 shutdown tree
WR-68spd 45agil 30vsn 19jmp 13str 21stam 48catch 2-2-1-1-1 possession wr tree
Seems like I should dominate him....he ended up with 18catches for 200 yds, half of which probably came of me.
Ideas?

You really need to get Super Vision and Shutdown Coverage leveled up... having 1 in a SA really doesnt do all that much good. I cant say that would solve everything, but it would certainly help getting both to 3 or 4. Also it might have something to do with your confidence. If you have a low confidence and give up 1 pass, well, youll keep giving up more. Ive found that getting my CB's confidence into the 25-30 range has prevented them from having those games where they give up 6+ passes.

Hmm yeah iv wanted more confidence but its a pain in the ass to train it now. No good intense combos for it. But yeah my next couple levels are going into SAs. We will see if that makes a difference.

Study Game Film: +vision, +confidence
Thats what ive been using on one of my DB's, although on the other ones ive been using forced fumble drill because all of them are lacking in the strength/tackling area.

Link to the spreadsheet itself. Like I mentioned, it's an amazing tool. I seem to be the only person that uses the thing, though. Been trying for a while to make it catch on.

Just pick something you can still improve a lot, and improve it - I could see Agility, Shutdown Coverage, Super Vision, or Change Direction all helping. Specialize in one to get the max effect.
This is the problem I'm having. The WR do a out/in or curl and my CB goes 5 yards down field before he comes back to make the play. Will agility help that?

Idk but something in me is telling me that smooth operator will help on those curl routes, it might allow you to stay closer to the WR. But I doubt it even works. Im just going to increase str so I can push the WR around.

I bet other people use it but they just dont go around "showing off"
I know my team uses a more in-depth spreadsheet than the one that you can use.

What team are you on?
And yeah, somebody thought they were cool and erased all the formulas on the SS so I am about to upload it once again.
