SEC I agree is overrated as well as their schedules are inflated big time by inter-conference play.

OSU was a lot more overrated than Mizzou but the loss to USC actually allowed people to see them for what they are!

Doesn't stop Mizz from still being super overrated. They are just like Clemson. Cake schedule last year made them look good coming into this season.

Chase Daniel and Jeremy Maclin alone make Mizzou for real

Um the Pac 10 sucks outside of USC. Mizz has no defense and that will be revealed once they start playing better teams, the one good team they played so far put up 42. But Texas and Oklahoma both look solid this year. Could Alabama win the SEC? That would be pretty surprising, but they look good so far. The ACC and the Big East are DREADFUL this season. The Big Ten is improving, but still not as good as the Big 12 or SEC, but they are better than the Pac 10 and the ACC and Big East.

The SEC, it's the only conference around... The Top to bottom depth can't be touched. There is NO comparison between the SEC and any other conference. Sure conferences like the PAC 10 and BIG 10 have nice teams in them.. but they don't have the depth, not even remotely close...

You get the "lesser" tiered SEC teams,with top notch coaches and 80,000 maniacs every week. I'm not talking about Florida, LSU, Georgia, Alabama etc. I'm talking about the lesser schools like South Carolina...

Too much depth, too many tough venues.

The SEC is the ONLY conference.

I think the Big 12 is catching up to the SEC.

Missouri is coming on, Kansas is showing up, Texas is still there, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Nebraska is coming back, and Kansas State isnt bad. Thats at least 7 teams in the Big 12 that could hang with the SEC.

Big Ten isnt bad now either!!!

Ohio State, Penn State, Illinois is making a comeback, Michigan State showed up, Wisconsin, Michigan, thats not bad.

The SEC is the best conference, stop trying to argue it. The Big 12 may have 3 good teams, but Oklahoma will run away with it this year. And Penn State should win the Big 10 which is not as bad as everyone thinks they are.

PENN ST.THE REST CAN HAVE 2ND.

I'm a Big 12 man obviously from the name, but there's no doubt in my mind the SEC is the best conference in college football, and the Big 10 is by far the most overrated. The Big 12 this year though is very, very good with at least 4 teams with ridiculous offensive explosiveness, and in my opinion, 2 teams that could possibly make a shot for the BCS championship game.

Just wait till A&M gets our big turnaround after this year

Isn't that what A&M fans said last year when they believed they were going to run over Penn State in the bowl game? How did that turn out?

As far as conference rankings go I will agree that the SEC is on top, for now, but I'm putting the Big 10 in the second spot with the Big 12 3rd. Everyone else just looks horrible this year.

Kansas is NOT for real. They are god awful.

Texas Tech is the same team that they always are. Not very good, just pass a ton and score a lot.

Mizz is super overrated. Play defense and play a good team first kthx. They gave up 400 passing yards to Juice Williams. He had a 50% completion rating [around that] last season. He is bad.

Oklahoma IMO has the best chance at going to the Champ game and winning it out of any team in the nation.

Texas will always remain in contention for a top spot in the Big 12. They are a good team deserving of a rank but nothing more.

I'm sorry, I can't ever root for the Aggies after the bowl game last year. The one yell leader or w/e you call them has tainted A&M for me.

considering we played our bowl game last year without our head coach lol, i dont think anyone really expected us to do THAT well in it...

No they don't. A defense is needed to make a team real. All you have to do is play ground and pound on Mizzou or take away Maclin and they are fucked.
