you guys also keep saying a 50k signing bonus! oh noes! well the guy is being paid almost 100k more than any of his other players, at over 250k. dont feel sorry for either of you what so ever. you signed the contract, deal with it. i feel bad for the owner here, nice way to repay him for in your own words 'being a good owner', and ridiculously overpaying you.

thanks guys for the support...i was asked to do this trade after the season started...was asked to do this monday...searched for a comparable de since he wasnt offering one back and there was none to be had...told his brother i was looking for a replacement and even though i thought his timing for the trade was bull shit that the player had played well for me and i would give him his wishes...i have always traded guys that wanted to move...just sometimes you need to replace the ones that want to move first...tuesday deathrow sent message asking if i had come up with something which i didnt get right back because i was still trying to figure out the best way to replace a level 31 de at this point in the season...thursday morning deathrow sent another message so i sent one back saying saturday i was off work and would have time to look over trades and get something done...then this morning(SATURDAY)he writes in the forum he was going public with this because i havent traded him and didnt respond to his constant messages...i have his two messages and the one that i sent back to him...plus his brother sent me three and i responded to all of them i believe...have my replies to him also...all of this happened this week...its just to hard for me to do all the owner things and try to find a suitable replacement so i thought i had every right to ask for a day where i had off to complete this trade...i was trying to accomadate a player and get threats because it didnt happen in his time frame...i welcomed the chance to go public debate with this as i knew i wasnt be unfair...as his threats included going public...as an owner we know we dont want unhappy players on the team but when surprises our sprung on us we may need a little bit of time to replace you especially at these high levels...forget me at this point is it fair to the other players for me to trade him and lose my best defensive lineman?...when the childish behavior stops hopefully we will work something out but i wont be bullied at this point after trying to accomadate his request and having him trying this b.s. to force me to trade him when it probably would of happened the day he started this b.s.

So... the whole point of this thread was to make Spotty look bad, and force the trade through..

Turns out.. Spotty's got a legit excuse, and has been exonerated.. and now the trade isn't gonna happen just out of spite because the agent couldn't resist throwing a temper tantrum from not getting his way.. and to top it off, the trade proooobably could have happened fairly soon had he just shut up..

You managed to negotiate getting no PT, AND no trade AND kill the last the goodwill with your owner AND look like an ass in the forums AND make your brother look stupid in the process. Epic Fail.

Although.. i did get an award.. so it's not a total loss..

For your tally...I am a player who doesn't really know spotty, and I think you are completely in the wrong. I don't sign a contract unless I plan on fullfilling it. period.

If for some reason I wanted to be traded. I would ask nicely if it was no trouble and then wait it out. My team (you do remember you are part of a team) should not suffer because I had a change of heart.
