The surefire way to reduce drops is to not plug, catching or vision, carrying or the possession trees to keep your catch radius and thus your drop radius small. Then you want to make sure that the ball isn't thrown you way or you may have a chance to drop it, especially with the low catching stats. The best way to achieve this is to stay away from agility and speed, because if your open they'll throw to you. Right, with me so far? Your best bet at this point is to take strength and blocking up to as many softcaps as possible so you are at least helping your team out as a blocker. Take confidence to the highest softcap as well so you don't get discouraged about not being thrown to, but on the minute chance your defender falls down and you are thrown to, you'll be fairly sure you can catch it, physical abilities and skills be damned! Avoid stamina at all costs, you don't want to be the WR with the most energy or they might throw to you when the other WRs are tired. Let me know how this build works, I'm very curious to see and don't want to spend my flex points on it as I prefer the built in drop rate with nice stats to no drops.
