Pretty much agree with the sentiment, if WEPL splits up I cant see me being around too much if at all.
I have played or Managed in almost every level of every league, and they are mostly absoulte shit.
You get a few leagues with something going for them, but generally thats because they have been together for 4 seasons or so.
I also understand that Western Europe is the only league that has really had any consistency.
The Original Pro Line Up had a majority of very good teams that stuck around for the long haul.
The AAA leagues were well enough stocked that the promoted teams could do well in Pro.
The result is a very competitive and balanced Pro League.
The AAA leagues are still providing good talent, and we are just starting to reach the point where a relegated team will be amoung the favs to go back up again.
I hate the idea of a forced demotion, on the grounds that its unfair on all the teams NOT promoted to replace them.
Imagine if Cows or Antwerp were promoted to replace a cupcake? yeah it would be good for our league, but it is a kick in the teeth for the rest of their league.
Only way it works is if the play offs are restructed to provide a Full and Final ranking, 1-32.
If everyone knew that there is a possibility of replacing a gutted team on the basis of your final position it would at least be fair warning.

Keep in mind that Bort already stated that a complete restructuring is not what he and DD are favoring, and that the poll will by no means be binding to them, they just want to feel out what the general opinion is. There has been a lot of sentiment by some of the more vocal agents that they'd want their regions to stay intact, just like us here in WEPL.

You're wrong about one thing though, man. Woodridge lost to FTA. We finished 3rd in Alpha last season and I don't think there was much question of whether we would make the playoffs past about Week 6.

No WEPL, then I'll lose interest. A lot of us are only playing because there were three Buffalo Bills fans teams in AAA zeta. Two of the teams are up here now (one of us is stinking the joint up so far, LOL), and hopefully the Cows will get here eventually. We ended up having some good rivalries with Arkansas and Philly, too. Bort and DD shake this up and it won't be the same level of interest. I'll have to start concentrating on my job and family. That'll suck.

Yeah, I stick with this game because playing here is a good time. I've actually put money into this game because I'd rather play in THIS league, than with the retards around.
I am sure there are good owners, teams and players elsewhere, but I think we are this good because we have self-regulated, for the most part. I really don't want to be involved with the anti-social dweebs elsewhere.
