Like it or hate it, it's based purely on how your team has done in the past, it's current W-L record, point differential, recent 4 game play, and strength of roster. It's not an "opinion" power rankings... War Eagle does that (and a good job at that).

New Jersey you dropped down so much because your roster strength actually decreased in the offseason.

all we lost was our QB who did nothing good anyway. our HB now is my guy who led EE AA in rushing yards and 3rd in TD's. so there we increased. i still think we are a top team

Owner and, of course, Chairman of the Washington Chairmen here. It's great to be up here in the pros, and good luck to everyone this year!

We shouldn't get too worked up over these Power Rankings. thehayzone put a lot of work into this, and I applaud him for the effort. No productive member of society, as he obviously is, can be expected to take into account every single facet of our teams, but I think he has done a great job of providing fairly strong and highly objective rankings with the available data.

However, we must remember that many owners/players are still boosting and signing and reordering depth charts, etc. I think a solidified team lineup is expected by game 1, so let's see what happens. I'm definitely not trying to criticize anyone or discourage discourse/smack talk... What I've been working up to, I guess, is that we can't take preseason rankings too seriously (especially with newly-joined teams thrown in the mix). After we've all played a game and solidified rosters, the power rankings might change significantly, as they should, and this will be the point at which we can start taking them more seriously, and hopefully not personally.

Can't wait for this season to get going... Longest off-season ever!!!

Good wirte up and ranking are fine, don't let these whiners get you down about it. We like being the underdogs. so We will fly under the radar until we hit our 10 game winning streak again. Good luck to everyone!

Totally agree with you. If any of you people feel like your team has been placed lower, so you have a chance to prove he is wrong in the "field"

Chaos Theory enjoys being the underdog. The former team, under old management, was 2-11. After new management and a complete evisceration of the roster, we are 3-0. Our power rank will change very soon. Oh yes.

My version of the Power Rankings

I will be excluding my team in my rankings to keep from showing any bias.

#1 "Team is considered in black out status. "

#2 American Invaders. This is a team, that no matter what there talent is on there team, you cant count them out. As the cinderella team of last year, tries to ride the emotional rollercoster into this year. This is a team that has proven that its coaching that wins game. They are the Eastern Europe Pro version of the pre stacked Patriots, but without the cheating.

#3 Moscow's "Dirty, Rotten, Cheatin" MONSTERS Here is a team also with alot of heart. Coaching is supurb, and this team has shown what it takes to win. It seems that free agency might of hurt them a little bit, but with the miracle season of last year, you cant count this team out as a power team.

4# Washington Chairmen This team would be rated higher, but it is unknown what they can do in the pro league. They have the talent to go the distance, but its all on the coaching staff. This league is diffrent that the AAA that the chairmen dominated.

5# Chernobyl Mutants This is a all around great team. They dont show any severe weakness. This is a team that was suppose to easily sweep the zeta conferance last season, but failed.

Moscow vs Moscow showdown Game of the week.

The monsters vs dragons.

The monsters a team is very solid in all key positions and seem to be hurting in other non glamour position, due to free agency or non boosting. J. George has shown that he can throw the ball down feild to T.Brown. He has sucess last year doing it, and I suspect them to have sucess this year as well. They have a solid secondary that might be hurting a bit in the free saftey department, but if this team can keep the ball in front of them, they can stay in the fight.

The dragons here is a one of a few teams that severly upgraded there team in free agency.

With the additions of Wr TD Smith, this team looks as if it could be the next greatest show on turf. The problem is, what this team has in weapons it lacks in other departments. With
a par offensive line, and a slightly above average dline and linbackers, the monsters might be able to use this weakness against them. With more than a handful of inactive players, this team might be wasting the talents that they have in the skilled positions.

My prediction

Monster win 17-10

This was just a quick preview, I tried to get something out so people had something before the game tomorrow.
If I start doing mine, there will normally be more effort

Good game, Invaders. Chaos Theory needed a statement game, and beating the superbowl runner-up at their house qualifies. Went down to OT in this slugfest.
