Angry much?

Not once have I called you wrong, not once have I attacked anyone on here for their builds. I've simply put forward possibilities and things to consider that most people don't try with their builds, based on an experimental prototype. If you have issues with that, bite me.

Ideas are ideas, you do with them what you want. C&Ping other peoples well thought out posts adds nothing to the conversation though and just gets in the way. If your going to do it constantly at least add some input along side them.

You still don't get it.

No one gives a damn about your opinion, because your WR hasn't done a damn thing since you created him.

End of story.

Go build a successful WR, or any player for that matter, then maybe you can come here pretending that you have a clue. But until that happens, which is doubtful at this point, no one is going to listen to anything you have to say.

OH NOES!!1! He only scored two passing TD on a team that runs the ball, he must be broken beyond repair. Try talking big when your WR can score on a series of teams you don't blow out 807-125. You hardly have an epic build yourself, just a dominant team to stat pad on.

EDIT: Anyway, Bort has spoken, arguement over.

Bort had wanted long passes to be at about a 50% completion rate. Last season it was way above that. Hence the increased incomplete's on long pass's.

If you go with a short passing game you will get many more completions, just like a real life west coast offense.

Good explanation. However, there are other ways to show that. Missing wide open WRs does not tend to happen at a 50% rate. If the passes REALLY ARE over or underthrown, reflect that somehow in the animation or in the play-by-play. Something like incomplete -overthrown or incomplete-underthrown would be spectacular. We need something to combat the 2D vagueness.

Hm, I will have to think about how to do that, cuz it's not a bad suggestion. Most of the time these incompletes that look "on the money" are actually hitting the ground or the WR's shoes, so too low to catch. Either the throw was bad, or the WR didn't have the vision or agility to make the comeback move in time.

Bukowski, like it or not your WR has done most of his work in blowouts. If we only include games in which your team has won by fewer than TEN touchdowns (less than 70 points), that shaves off 511 yards and 9 TD's. What we end up with is 516 yards and 4 TD's. Whooho! Stop the presses. Now, let's look at the games decided by 21 points or less (or that your team lost)...

L 14-17 1 catch 10 yds
L 20-44 1 catch 4.5 yds
W 20-10 1 catch 14.5 yds
W 42-24 2 catches 38.5 yds
W 33-17 4 catches 48 yds
W 56-38 2 catches 22 yds
L 14-27 4 catches 61.5 yds
L 10-16 3 catches 27 yds

Now that is something to be proud of.

I don't claim my L22 WR is a world beater, I think he's very good and given the 21 snaps a game he received last season I think he's done amazing things! Most importantly, shown up when it counts.

You don't know what my build is, so I guess that's just another thing you're misinformed about.

When there is a team full of players that are built really well, usually they win. Just a little secret between me and you.

So for you to pretend that my team winning, actually takes something away from my WRs - well you're just wrong, again.

But the funny thing about your little comment, is that your team actually did a lot of winning themselves. So if my success is due to my team being a winner, then what's your WRs excuse?

Oh wait.. You said that you guys just run the ball a lot.

But even if you did run the ball a lot last season - why the low average per catch? Your WR averaged 9.3 YPC, I really doubt that has anything to do with your team running the ball a lot.

But in Season 4 - you caught 74 passes. You only could average 11 yards per catch, but that must have been the running games fault as well, right?

Well.. Maybe its just your WR that isn't any good. Let's look at your other players:

You have a Level 32 Defensive End that had 3 sacks last year..

Wow, 3 sacks. I bet he has a great build.

Should I go on?

You have a bunch of high level players, that still aren't producing, yet you're on here ranting and raving as if you actually have a clue.

You don't.

LOL.. So you can pick and choose which games count?

Really?

I didn't know that's how it works.

Go back and re-read the thread.

I didn't start this pissing contest, he did.

He somehow took offense to me copying and pasting someone's post, meaning that I agreed with it.

I never said my WR was the best - he's not. In fact, I didn't say anything about any of my players. But I don't come on here acting like I know everything about how to build a player. I started this thread to ask a question, which does in fact mean that I needed others opinions.

But this guy came in here, pretending he knew exactly what he was talking about, getting pissy when people didn't agree with him, but his players haven't done a damn thing - even in blowouts.

Honestly, go re-read it. I was asking a honest question, having a discussion with other WRs, but he throws a fit because I copied and pasted someone's response?

I value TtD's opinion as equally as anyone else that posts on here. If it's well reasoned, it has a degree of merit that says the person who composed it put thought into it and that makes it worth considering.

I don't really appreciate you speaking on my account (as a part of "everyone here") either.

I'm especially glad that I linked to this thread as proof that my WR is not the only one experiencing these problems.
