Is it true that in SA's anything over 10 is useless. Bort says that the cap is 10 did he not?

The cap for natural/base SAs is supposed to be 10, yes. But Custom and Advanced equipment can boost you above that. Those extra levels aren't useless, but they do have diminishing returns... so going from 10 to 11, or 11 to 12, doesn't help as much as going from 9 to 10.

Your Speed/Agility must be really low..

Your Pass Defense bar is only a 36 @ Level 31 - especially low, since you have 54 Vision?

That's got to be an odd build.

I don't believe Vision affects the pass defense bar, from what I've seen it's Speed, Agility, Jumping and Catching...

it does affect it, just not as much as Speed/Agility.

Strength also plays a part in the pass defense bar, for some strange reason..

I agree. I have a CB with NO SA, and led the league with 10 ints last season, and is currently leading the league with 4.

INTs isn't the best way to tell the worth of a CB...

Besides deon sanders who had I think 21 ints, every good CB is dictated by INTS.

False. Good DBs don't get thrown at often enough to accumulate a ton of INTs.

But is it not the job of the defense to get the opposing teams offense off the field .... and is not causing a turnover the best way to do that in terms of field position rather than having a team punt (most of the time)

so wouldnt that make INTs extremely important and a good way of determing the worth of a CB

A good CB will get the INT where an average CB will not. He might even be able to "bait" a QB to throw it when he shouldn't.

A great CB will make the QB re-consider the option to throw it towards the WR.

Generally. Even great CBs get burnt on occasion, though, just like average CBs can make an occasional incredible play. IMO, stats are secondary to accomplishing the objective for the play, which is to deny.

I tend to think my CB is doing pretty good. Not a high league though. Western Europe AA, level 29, 5 games on the season, 8 tackles, 6 picks for 104 yards, 14 PDs.

We'll see if he can keep it up though.
