I'd be careful before drawing the conclusion that the Freedom Warriors are garbage:
(1) East has dominated West in Championship play:
Season 2:
Gary Gangstaz (East, 15-1)-27
Farkistan Squirrels(West, 16-0)-16
Season 3:
Niagara Rapids (East, 14-2)-19
Austin Alcoholics (West, 14-2)-12
Season 4:
Atlanta Purple Penguins (East, 15-1)-57
Oakland Nation (West, 15-1 w/ only loss coming to an East team in week 16)-13
I'm kinda seeing a trend here...
(2) Lincoln is the ONLY team to beat the Purple Penguins last season, regular season, playoffs and tournament, including teams from the "Best of BBB" tournament which included 6 League Champions and 5 League Runner Ups. Oakland Nation, the undefeated champion of the Western Conference, got beat up pretty good by the East champ. Also, Oakland lost to the Minnesota Skulls in the aforementioned tournament, 36-7, while the Penguins beat the same Skulls team by 48-27.
(3) Lincoln looks to be even TOUGHER this year!!!
So I have to give my totally biased and unobjective opinion (hey, I played against these guys for 3 seasons! They've ALL earned my respect.) that if you think the Freedom Warriors are garbage, you may be in for a very nasty surprise if you schedule a friendly against them...or the Thundercats or the Baby Kittens or the Lycans or the.....etc etc
OK, enough from me. I'm not even a part of the league anymore

good post Knightman the west has dominated the past few seasons and it was pre-season so who cares the regular season is here now and thats all that matters...good luck to everyone this season lets go play some football

I don't know guys... we did seem to have a bit of a good run pre season against the samurai's and Houston without a game plan either... I think that the west is tougher then u guys give us credit for
