Less teams every season--no reason to invest----matter of time

I miss the game back when I first left. You had to have a super slow build that was built damn near perfect to even make it on to a decent team. Now, if your friends don't make a few dots each to help fill a roster out you get stuck with inactive twats or CPU players.

So. Back to my original suggestion. Subscription option for dots. See suggestions tab. BANG DONE. Guarantee you can get way more people to pay 10 per season than you can people that are willing to shell out 24.99 just to boost 6 players every season. WG failed business so hard.

I couldn't say if I do or not. I still train my player, and he's on a team, but that's about the extent of it. Honestly, if the owner of the team didn't message me occasionally to remind me to use SP, I probably would have completely forgotten about it by now.

You don't train your glb2 player

Not sure it translates all that well under the current building structure. Unless you are just talking divisions and not ladder as well.

Put constraints on it, only allow the 3x boosts in the offseason to prolong their life, once they fall 1 day into decline, no boosts will be allowed, so you have a 16 day window every offseason to keep your dot going.

would probably be pretty easy to code, would extend the life of the game, win win for everyone. "if you like your dot, you can keep your dot" bring back pro+

**and fuck the hall of fame, its broken anyway**

This would be an easy fix to get more players in pro. Allow us to extend the extended plateau at 3 boosts a season but no more levels, xp or sps. If you want make the extended plateau boosts non refundable, but it would increase the amount of pro level players in a few seasons, and may even generate more revenue. Nobody likes a year long build process but we like the game. This benefits everyone that likes the end game.

This would prlly help but I still prefer the insta level dots idea myself. Not that I would insta build to a level 79 dot would probably take them to around day 200 and go from there.

After the current 5 seasons of plateau is enough for me as after 5 seasons of just watching dots without anything to do as far as training and such gets a little boring and wants to try new dots.

But then again as i believe Wise posted earlier in this thread the only thing that they will be doing is condensing the leagues again.

This doesn't impress, upset or shock me in any way.

And yes I certainly see how such an announcement could be described as big. But ANY attention, ANY announcement about GLB1 will be big simply because they are so rare.
But the idea of modifying the league structure isn't a big deal at all.
I mean I expect GLB to do that anyway in order to manage the exponentially fewer number of competitive teams each season.
So change the league structure all you want. Who really gives a chit.

However if you actually want to grow the game then cut the player price, shorten the off season and go to insta-dots as an option.
Use conservative estimates and run the fricken numbers and see where GLB1 would be after a year. You guys are the marketing and business geniuses not me!
I'm just the guy who likes to build DBs that can intercept, stop the outside rush and deflect a pass, but not a guy who likes to wait a year each time I try..

anticipating the collective hissy fit

That in itself is hilarious. There are no changes coming....
People have been ASKING for changes/ adjustments here for the last few years now and all I heard was it's NGTH.
Please don't try to excite people with false hopes (again)

This is why they need insta dots, or at least level 48 dots, plays like this make it not worth caring at lower levels...http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2712878&pbp_id=1898432

easy fix #1 -- cut flex buying prices in half
all 3 games would see a boost in activity
before this is automatically shot down, think about the trade off with more smaller income transactions and fewer larger ones. more smaller purchases indicates growth

easy fix #2 -- get rid of the default blocking bonus for WRs
let the attributes do the work

easy fix #3 -- cut max roster sizes down to 30, tweak OOPPs for some specific depth chart slots like WR5 and/or BTE and/or CB3/4/5
would make it easier to fill teams, more teams would be bought

semi easy fix #4 -- cut the effects of stamina in half
works in conjunction with lower roster sizes

semi easy fix #5 -- adjust QB target priorities to allow for catching probability
would cut the value of speed on pass catchers (need for separation) and defenders could in turn scale down speed

semi hard fix #6 -- get rid of anti-fake for defenders--change Make Tackle roll to be the same as resist fake roll
instantly levels the playing field between offensive specialists (BT vs Fakes) and defenders that have to stop everything

semi hard fix #7 -- get rid of morale
all morale based abilities and effects could be changed to affect energy instead, remove Confidence from player templates

semi hard fix #8 -- adjust QBs default targeting from the center of player, to an elevated height determined by average of center and max receiver catch height
would change the way all pass catchers and defenders are built http://s12.postimg.org/j0jvbkib1/targeting_tweak.jpg

edit:
easy fix #9 -- hire Tj Spikes at WG games
would relocate to Oregon at own expense; currently in college for Web Design; years of gaming and play testing experience
