Its actually pretty impressive that the new guys up here have been here since season 1. I mean they are user 3000 and such, to have played glb for 21 seasons and to just now make it to the world league is insane. The game is 3 years old and nobody even game plans anymore. lol, funny how they are proud of their efforts in this game despite failing for the last 20 seasons
Kong is one of the classiest owners in the league, I've been with the Musketeers for seven seasons now, don't think we've recruited for more than a half dozen players in any off-season since then. Built the team from the ground up with a group of committed agents and the same ownership structure for more than ten seasons. We've promoted all the way from a AA league to WL, winning a AAA and a WEPL championship along the way. You're right, it is insane that we're in WL, and it's even more incredible that we've had so much success to start our World League career.
So while you see failure, all we see is a history of winning. You and I value different things; I'd rather make an unsuccessful run at a trophy with a team I've been with for almost a year, you'd prefer to rent your player to a random team for the sole purpose of being able to shout "kiss the ring", and have it be relevant once every eight seasons.
