So did smoking pot, are you gonna suggest everyone try that too?

You should read my edit to previous post

You are right, I was mistaken in thinking 16 year old mods could be impartial.

Edit: To be honest, I haven't read much posting by you to determine whether you are a decent mod or not, but I do know there are (and have been) quite a few mods that have/had no business holding that title.

Since my team may be in for a rough season, I want to have some fun in this forum.

THERE IS NO FUN IN DOTBALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL WHO AM I KIDDING....

no way dude, I'm PISSED! didn't you read?

P.S. If the WL falls apart like it appears to be in the early stages of, should we bring the PWT back?

Another professional post from you. I'm not mad about anything. You are just a complete joke and always have been. Find someone not from CPL or over the age of 16 that thinks you are deserving of being a mod and I'd be shocked.

I'm not saying mods can't have fun. I'm not saying people on the forums can't have fun. That would be stupid. The problem is that a large portion of this forum thinks it is fun to attack and gang up on other users that don't want that. We all fuck around with our friends in real life and I do on here as well, but in real life you wouldn't barge into someone else's conversation with a nou even if that conversation was taking place in a public or semi-public place. It just wouldn't happen. However, on here, it's a free for all everywhere you go, especially in this forum. I don't mind friendly shit talking and busting eachother's balls with people I like, but the problem is that I don't like you, and I don't like a lot of these people.

If you think I'm alone in this assessment, then you need to come out of the little internet cave that you live in and realize that there are a lot of people on these forums that don't bother speaking up, but just think this is an embarrassment. But I know, it's the lolinternets and people think that real world code of conduct doesn't apply, even from a business standpoint. Words always get heated in a competitive environment and sometimes not among friends, but at the end of the day, I usually like and respect my opponents because they treat me with respect and courtesy. On here, no one has to look anyone in the eye so they just act however they think looks cool or gets them lawls with their e-friends.

You know, we are at a defining moment in GLB. WL is involved in two scandals (statgate and APLgate), and we are going through the worst lag crisis since the wayback (though I suspect this is fixed).

And although we've heard a lot about coming changes, I think many have been struggling for a while, and you recognize that this could have an impact on all sectors of this game.

And you're wondering, how's it going to affect me?

So we have to move swiftly. I've put forward a series of proposals that make sure that we protect GLB's users as we deal with these problems.

No. 1, we've got to make sure that we've got oversight over this whole process; the missed flex from this incident is a lot of money.

No. 2, we've got to make sure that GLB'ers, when they are putting their money at risk in this game, have the knowledge that Bort is in it for the long haul, and that he is dedicated to making the changes they want to see.

And, No. 3, we've got to make sure that we're helping team owners, because the root problem here has to do with the promotion system here specifically, and throughout GLB generally.

You must have been hanging out with the old Ricky Williams too.

The root problem with GLB isn't anywhere close to the promotion system to be honest.
While I agree that things are infinitely better than in season 1, communication (or lack thereof in a timely manner) is still the biggest problem on GLB, especially for team owners and active non-lol-GMs. You are only kidding yourself if you think otherwise.

Edit: By the way, congrats to turnit643 on his new position, deserving of a chance.

I don't know the personal vendettas people have but APL seems pretty pathetic. Really lame that solid teams who would be able to compete would rather stay in APL and cruise to 13-16 wins and gameplan for like 3-4 regular season games than have to compete in WL.

I know bort needs to fix the glb finance system and i still think 1 extra season of decline will help alleviate some of the gutting since teams would have an extra season of recruiting after their main guys get older and also would increase the available pro level players by a generation meaning more dots to go around for Pro leagues. I agree with r87 that i'd really like to know that GLB will be around 11 seasons from now before i build another player. Honestly, sometimes i'm not all that sure which makes me hesitant about throwing down money on a new player to spend $60-90 over 10 seasons on. Lots of other issues too

Regardless, some people just need to sack up. The only way you get better is by consistently playing against the best teams, which is part of the reason that USAPL and CPL have had a higher number of top notch teams (though things are slowly evening out with tourneys, ranked scrims, WL, and decline)

It hasn't worked. And I think that the fundamentals of the game have to be measured by whether or not the paying customers are getting a fair shake. That's why I'm a moderator, and that's what I hope we're going to be talking about.

And have no doubt about the magnitude of this problem. And we're not just talking about failure of communication. We have to have accountability and oversight. GLB has to have options for multiple communication outlets, rather than one function. It has to have a package with a number of other essential elements to it. How do you all stand on any kind of new plan?

Pretty sure everyone should definitely smoke pot.

Completely harmless if you're not an idiot.

Don't smoke until you're 18, though. Gotta let your brain develop or else you'll turn into a moron.

Drinking is extremely terrible for you, and yet dumbasses against cannabis are always pro-alcohol.

Now you are starting to talk responsibly r87, maybe it did work?

The change log/admin announcements are a step in the right direction, but only if utilized in a timely manner, which sometimes happens and sometimes does not. Then there are the forums, same thing there as far as timeliness of accurate information being put forth rather than conjecture by a mod or multiple mods. More than once have I seen a mod start a thread about a particular sore spot (in the eyes of the average GLBer that has more stake than just players) only to find out that Bort did not go that route with his plans. How confusing do you think it is to read through 87 pages of posts only to find out the OP was completely off base?

I am sure you will get different answers if you polled the owners/active GMs and just those with players, but I can speak for myself that the lack of proper communication is among the 2 biggest reasons I no longer own a team and am now simply living off the flex of retired players.

Well, looks like most of APL has decided to decline promotion to the WL. So, I have decided to allow Dakar, who just missed the playoffs at a very respectable 9-7 9th place from Africa, to stay in the WL, unless somebody else from APL wants to step up and take their place.

You just fucked up the forums. Now we have to deal with another 2 months of GMath thinking that someone gives two shits about what he's posting.

You are always so mad about everything. If you are grumpy about Bort not shining your shoes and doing your laundry, then
