I think Atl Apoc will actually be around next season, some of our existing staff will run the team... I think It should still be a solid competitor.

Great Idea with the pro league...props to whomever came up with it.

Definitely.
I will also be running a championship team as I did in Season 9 with the Pee Wiis, we will have a new name and logo when the season starts so you will all have some old school competition to face, but with a little bit of a new school twist with what I have learned from ATL.

Why the HELL do I have to be in your division!!! isn't it enough I get you on my side of the bracket in just about every tourney!?!

p.s. HHM don't want to go to the pro league [I don't think]. (32 great teams putting in a lot of flex, time and effort for 1 trophy, which is the same size, color and shape as our current one.... I think we'll stay in our league and spank people!). Not unless there was some other advantage.

Advantage = Recruiting.

It gets tougher each season to find players by Day 31.

Not really, want to come to the pro league were odds are its guaranteed to be a grind it out (shut your stats down) season [due to all the really good OC's/DC's], or pay the same flex and go dominate somewhere else. Also we do ok recruiting now, I don't see a Pro-League team being a big draw (for peewee, given the reset each season).

I don't mean to be negative about a Peewee Pro League, I support the idea, its just I want all you guys in it and me left out here on my own!!!

(I'm 50/50 on HHM being in it, I like the idea of great competition. I don't like the idea of some low level peewee league getting the same trophy for minimal effort [as all the good teams are gone], whilst 31 of the 32 great teams miss out on a trophy after putting in all that effort).

OK, SOLUTION =
keep the regular leagues..........offer a pro league (double the flex cost for a team in this)
for those that qualify, and want in.
so, it would work like this
One league (normal)
Pro league - similar to scrimms, with a set schedule. and a end of season tourney.....

so, 16 regular games
16 pro league games
any subsequent playoff games.........
brutal, yet fun.

If they doubled the price I am out, this game is already pretty expensive for an internet type of game.

Why should a pro pee wee team cost any more? Regular pro league teams don't cost more than AAA or minor league teams.

Its not like there's some additional cost incurred in having a tiered league, or any artificial price-based barrier to entry that needs to be raised aside from being good enough to make the cut.

I wouldNT pay a flex point more, I mean given the fact all these teams are top notch your going to lose games when your not accustomed to losing. So now your going top pay more to lose more? I think I would stay in my own league and whoop majority of the teams and enjoy the success and less cost.

LOL, thanks for the condescending non-answer.

I've been reading this thread since it was started, and I have not seen anything from you or anyone else that explains why a team in a pro peewee league should cost more flex than normal. In fact, I haven't seen anyone post about increased flex cost except you, period.

So how about I ask my question again, and you see if you can come up with an actual answer. Why should peewee pro cost more than regular?

ok, sure I saw that, but you never said your 32-game season idea was justification for the team costing more, and I think I should forgiven for not guessing, because not only does it cost them nothing extra to structure the season right (and I don't think us not having to pay flex for scrimmage-tourneys we shouldn't have to put together in the first place qualifies), on top of that, the whole idea doesn't really make sense in a 40-day season...

Right now 16 games + 4 playoffs = 20 games in 40 days = 1 game every 2 days. How do you suggest 16 + 4 + 16 + 4 = 40 official games be held? a game every single day and the pro season ends in half the time of regular to accomodate? I just don't see that happening.

well, actually, it was just a suggestion..............so, take it at that...............not a good one maybe.............either way.
just throwing ideas out there,
I would like to see the pro league, just as it is in the other GLB pro format.............i was just replying to a way to accomodate others...........I knew someone would piss all over it..................no big deal

Seems like this is more trouble then necessary. From what it sounds like teams are bored of the competition. How hard would it be to just shuffle teams in leagues say every 3 or 4 seasons. Plus, if they made each leagues trophy slightly different it would give you something extra to play for.

Lol, don't take the math as a personal attack, I understand you're just throwing out suggestions. You're suggesting a 40 game season, though, so expect someone to ask more details of how you think that should work out. Maybe you ARE suggesting we should play a game every day. Maybe you think we should be able to handle a double heavy schedule if we are claiming to be so "Pro".

I still don't personally see it happening, but I imagine some people will support the idea and many might think playing an official game every day would be awesome. Either way though, I don't think it would be fair to charge more for it, or any other peewee pro league setup... It should just be done that way because its the way all the owners want it, and we already spend a fair amount of $$ on the game, as a group.

I wouldn't pay more for it nor would I want a THIRTY TWO game season. 16 games is plenty, I'm sure we'll all schedule tourney games and random scrimmages just like we always do (I know I will). Just win your way in and move up the system like every other league, not sure why it has to be different or more expensive here.

The 400 more flex idea is pointless because I could just start a 17 team Pro League myself, make the schedule, and have all 17 teams schedule 16 "league games" and that'd cost the same... 400 flex.. and we wouldn't have to wait for Bort to FINALLY make a league for us.
