I just think we should be consistent. Last year I felt the Rampage were better than our record, but since that record absolutely sucked at the time of the selection of SEAPL representation, the Hustlers got in over us and lost their matchup. By the end of the season it was clear we were way superior, but at the time we went by all we had to go on. When you have 2 0-2 teams above us, and a team we DIRECTLY and FAVORABLY compare to above us, then that's not using the same criteria we used last season.

That was my point. Rank the Flames where you want show us who to play and we will beat them down. If you want to be ranked higher win something in this leagueOriginally posted by g-bay-be

Rampage should be higher. Vanuatu, Garudas, and Lightning should be below us.

Based on what? Whoever wants to be ranked higher should force themselves to be recognized.

We're 2-0, Vanuatu is a new team and they're 1-1, Bangkok is 0-2, Garudas are 0-2. Hell, I've already done the comparison between Duluth and Buffalo. Both 2-0, have played the same 2 teams, and we have a very slightly higher point differential in our favor. I can easily make an argument right now based on this season as it has gone in the 1st 2 weeks for the Rampage to be above Duluth, the Garudas, the Lightning, and Vanuatu. I'd put them in that order until further notice.

I'd also put Singapore Flames and Buddhist above all of us. Flames #11, Buddhist #12, Rampage #13, then the 4 I listed previously 14-17.

well then make a list bud, and for the record the 2 teams you beat aren't very good, but you insist onj launching your team up the rankings do work and make a list with where your team is ranked. Does it really fucking matter where you think your team should be ranked. let's be honest your a middle of the pack bubble playoff team does it really matter which middle of the pack bubble team you play from EEPL?

On tradition alone, you're gonna have a problem with teams like Komodo and 3KW above teams like the Garudas and Lightning, but I made the list with a very simple principle that if you're 0-2 you're not getting ranked above a 2-0 team under any circumstances. This isn't set in stone, and if a team like 3KW loses and Bangkok wins next week, it's certainly something to re-examine. But for right now, I don't know any argument that should put 0-2 teams above 2-0 teams.

so basically they are ranked by Win Loss, 2 games into the season.... awesome

LSP at 7?

Not even close. There are a number of very good 1-1 teams above a group of 4 2-0 teams in Buffalo/Duluth/Komodo/3KW. I get that 2-0 vs. 0-2 is only a difference of 2 games, fine. But that's all we have to go on so far. So, competitively speaking, there's a justifiable impetus for my grading scale.

I know it's nice and comfortable for you fools in Naga to treat Garuda like a one trick pony, but the fact of the matter is that LSP has lost a game and there are other very good teams like Sumatra and Manila who haven't. LSP is extraordinarily capable of moving up the list, but the fact that a team of their caliber is 7th is a GOOD thing for SEAPL.

Okay, two issues:

1) We still need a name. Still looking for something else that is a bit interesting/funny.

2) When to set up. I suggest that we wait until both league play their first 6 games, and then work on ranking and matching the teams. That can be done in 2-3 days, and have the game set to be run between days 15-20.
