Unless you're referring specifically to military personnel getting FP, which is a different discussion. My compilation does not apply strictly to military personnel, since there is no harm in having a Leave of Absence for other issues (marriage/honeymoon, newborn kid, vacation with family, internship, etc.).

EDIT: And get rid of the support part of it-it could take up to a week for them to reply, so just have a button to press, which asks you if you want to activate the account.I was thinking it would be something like the "rename" link for our players, where we just notify that we want to activate and someone like euchrid says "ok green light" and revives the account from dormancy.
Eh, it should be automatic.

strictly military issue, something small like 200 or 400 FP each, they deserve everything coming to them for risking their lives for a country as great as the US

Earlier in this thread there was some backlash from other country's citizens to that idea, plus there was the issue of verification of service (a military e-mail perhaps?). I love the idea, but if there's a chance for an exploit someone's going to use it and that would be even more disrespectful to our heroes.
Anyway, that's a separate suggestion for a different debate. This just deals with Leave of Absence accounts.

I'd say if we found a way to do, then the game should be free for them. If we can find a way to verify the validity of it in all cases, it's the least we could do for them.

JUST AN EXAMPLE this can be used for any reason

Not everyone that plays this game is from the US though

My brother moved and didn't have internet access for a few months and that turned him off from the game. His players didn't develop well so he quit. He was a low level, but still.
this is why Bort needs to do it.

Since it sounds like guys are based on days old....a simple way to track this is you could move their "create date" forward a day at rollover if they are "frozen". wouldn't have to change anything else really.
