to add to pt #2... Perhaps the owner could determine how much money goes into this section. Spending more or less to improve the quality of the stadium each season, which directly correlates to the benefits/issues that come of it.
For example:
Say by GLB rule, a stadium HAS to be at 60% to be "safe and playable". If it's not, no income is earned, as tickets can't be sold, until brought up to code. An owner is forced at minimum, to keep this at least at 60%. (inspected before each season, % holds steady all season, but can be improved as season goes on as well, just can't drop, until offseason)
However, by way of a slider bar, can increase the monies payable into this budget, to further improve this area. More money spent equals improved stadium, which in turn benefits the team in some way (not financially - chemistry, fan support, what have you).
Moral of the story.... Team ownership and stadium building is a game within the game.... almost breaking away on it's own as a separate aspect of GLB. More focus is required on this area, with ways to make the ownership process longer, more enjoyable, etc. An owner shouldn't be able to complete everything there is within 3-4 seasons.....there's no forward looking goals for owners, as things currently stand.
