Thank you. If there's no more constructive input to this thread...can we just kill it now?

LOL. I guess between my 3 LB starting in 3 different Pro Leagues I am having a hard time seeing any season 7 irrelevance.

So far 2 missed tackles and 1 LB leading a Pro League in INTs. Aww shucks, I guess championing vision the last couple seasons seems relevant also. So I guess we are all still waiting on my 'nerfed' linebackers to start sucking but alas. . . .

Its gonna be a heartbreaker when they continue to put up stats after the season 10 decline...

LIke I said you're not some Pioneer about vision. I have known vision was one of the best things on defense for more than two seasons now. Just like everyone I have ever run across since season 2.

Deathblade doesn't believe in vision.

Neither do I to an extent. At 65 I feel like it's really a waste to spend any more points in it. Vision seems to plateau at that point, has anyone experienced this yet?

At 65, Deathblade would probably say you've wasted 40 points, hah.

But yeah, at 65 it would be hard to measure vision's worth unless you spent a season's boosts on it, and that is something I doubt too many people have done yet.

you have to admit, not a whole lot of attributes have to be 65. except speed or agility. I think the only time you need 65+ vision is if you are lacking play reads in the pro's.

I would just cry at that point.

I beg to differ. I bumped my vision up from 50 to 60 this season and just in the first game I got 2 INTs (one for a TD). I'll keep looking to see if this was a fluke but if you ask me, 60+ vision is worth it.

50 to 60 only costs 20 points; easily attainable. Anything higher than 65 though costs 3 to start, then 4 once you hit 67+. THAT is when the cost:benefit question becomes difficult to answer.

edit: Also, moving vision to 60 should be standard issue on LB's in their mid-20's nowadays in any case.

Hey. I'm a newbie GLB player this season, and made a LB as my first player. Now, I already know I kinda screwed up by picking some Special Abilities at the start but I figure it's not that big a deal as I'll benefit from them sooner or later anyway.

How does this look so far? I'm currently level 5, playing in the Pee Wees.

Str: 22.32
Speed: 32
Agility: 20.32
Jumping: 11
Stamina: 17.32
Vision: 16.32
Confidence: 13.32
Blocking: 11
Tackling: 15.32
Catching: 11
Throwing/Carrying/Punting: 9
Kicking: 8

The SA's I picked was Trash Talk 1, Glare 1, Shed Block 2. In 6 games this season, I have a total of 36 tackles(3 missed), 5 hurries, 4 TFL, 1 PD and an average of 52 plays a game. Equipment is 2 points each in speed and agility. I feel like I'm doing alright for myself, but don't know if I'm correct

PS. I'm not slowbuilding, as I'm just trying to get a feel for the game and how things work first.
