Does this mean the 'grey' bars do, in fact, refer to a cap on what can be put into an attribute? It seems these caps rise with level/age and does the initial build process determine these caps or is it based on position; perhaps even both?

My next concern is how will GLB 1.0 survive? It won't. The initial process already will be cutting almost all relevancy to the majority of lower level teams in GLB 1.0. There is no way there is enough player base left to have a pro league within maybe 3 seasons.

I think GLB 1.0 will be fine.

im reading it as teh grey bars you see are the max you can get. it's influenced by your initial build roll or traits. (as well as height/weight im assuming). its not super clear just yet.

there are no ALG. but SP costs raise quite quickly if you are trying to max "sprinting" right out of the gate. its an interesting nuance to the arms race vs balance building.

meh

People like what they are familiar with more than anything. If 2.0 succeeds it will be because Bert brought in a lot of new users.

Thinking the sprites need more fluidity to them. A little too herky jerky imo & going to fatigue the eye after a little while. Probably just needs an extra in-between graphic to make it smoother.

Also...need to add the ball to the ballcarrier/QB. Probably just not set as "has ball" state or something.

It has top plays, which shows the "biggest" plays from your team that season.

Player building in GLB 1.0 has lost its luster. If there is a huge lack of dots to recruit 3 seasons from now...teams will have to run with really old players and CPU's more and more. That won't go well. But hey...you can drink the Kool Aid if you like.

i think it will be tough on 1.0 at least in the first few months. folks that have been milking flex will clearly go to 2.0 and see what its all about. the dotpool here will shrink quite a bit.

those that don't have a lot of flex will likely retire a wave of dots.

there is also a branding issue where i personally think its a bad idea to call them 1 and 2

I thought the plan to bring new users to GLB 1.0 was the new game? Isn't that what we were told?

RIP GLB
