no joke lol

and thanks for the reminder... in addition to First Step, I also ranted about how unrealistic Disguise Blitz is

1) GLB powers to be need to add slide protect to the Offensive AI where the OC can select Slide Left or Slide or Right, while the RB will go the opposite way. One gap over to either side should not be a difficult concept to code, test and implement over the course of a season.

Until then....Every DC in a Pro League and WL should go the copy cat route and pretty much take 5WR and Shotgun passing out of the game. That might force a little change....

Taking a page out of reality.

BTW Slide Protection would add a new layer of potential for the mobile dotQB

lol, disguise blitz doesnt work though. spent 8 games testing it out with non-exploit blitzes and not once did a dot with 8 in it get to the qb unimpeded. it's just a red herring to throw off bad blocking logic when it "does" appear to be working... either that or it's like morale SA's where "if it were to work at the highest level, it'd be OP'd" and the vision check is too easy to pass for OL with 60+ vision.

I still don't think randomizing the blocking logic would be a terrible idea. Would be like real life blitzing where sometime the same blitz even against the same offensive play won't work exactly the same (an olinemen or fb/hb might react differently or the QB may get rid of it quicker). Would prob be easier than finding 1 ultimate blocking code

I don't actually think it works either. The only thing it *might* do is cause a longer delay for the HB/FB/TE/Olineman who is assigned to the blitzer to start moving in that direction. Could be other factors at play causing that delay though. Some team's backs are definitely better at stepping into the right spot than others.

Randomizing would be fine but I think you'd have more people bitching about that than you do now when DTs started coming in untouched occasionally and people threw a bunch of speed on them for actual insta-sacks. I'd like it if strong side blitzes were more viable as well (other than the CBs who get ignored completely). The TE chip really hurt that a few seasons ago.

if you started randomizing it people would just build super fast everything, blitz 6 every time, and completely work people.

might have just been their OT, but seemed to be pretty effective. Haven't seen a bounce like that in a while.

OT has over 120 strength, over 100 agility, and 11 in (lol) Foundation.

Blocking over 90, everything else 70 ish.

15 in stonewall of course.

He might have had a bad streaky day...hard to say.

Also has 15 in pass blocker, which would have been active on that play.

And 37.5% hold block of course.
