ITS A MATTER OF OPINION. Some people think builds are better. Some people think on-field performance is better.

Thank you for your opinion, I will skip past the part where you said nothing meaningful, and go right to what you said is the issue.

If "builds" are the issue at the WL level, then that pretty much negates past performance. Who cares what their past performance is, "I like the build".

And that is what I think should be changed. Maybe it has been with the new system in place. But isn't it kind of ridiculous to sacrifice 9 seasons to have an "Ultimate" build for the last 3 of their career?

what are you not getting about AAA performance to WL performance? Any 3 of our HB's could have went down and dominated your league last season...fortunately they had some sense when building and built themselves to be solid for Pro level or better.

I skipped past the part of your post I didn't read. There is no rule saying you have to build your player to meet WPL specs. Hell, until just recently I would retire my players as soon as they hit lvl. 40 out of sheer boredom. Some people's goal is to build WPL caliber players, others don't care about WPL or Pros and just build their players in a matter that is more suited for the lower end leagues. It's all a matter of preference.

If people want to do that they should be allowed, its there choice/career.

tbh...the only reason we didn't take Tyler on Lincoln is because he only had 14 receptions in the last 2 seasons and we needed a Scat Back. Tyler just didn't fit the mold tbh.

You voted for Obama didn't you? ....you speak like your dot has A RIGHT!!! to play in the WL, and that every dot should have that right!

WL is not a right, its a privilege!

Turns out that when you roit against good build strategy and purposely build bad players out of some stubborn desire for the game to shift to suit your sensibilities, you end up with shit players!

Who knew.

Although it is pretty shocking that no WL teams wanted your AA superstar. I hear the competition in the shit leagues is pretty stiff these days.

No, that isn't a Choice/Career.

It means that if you build your character for short term success, you sacrifice long term success. Is that the game we want to be playing? 9 seasons are around 12 months currently? I am not advocating that everyone who saw this coming should be screwed. I am just saying that if I want my player to be a WL guy, and I have to sacrifice production for 9 seasons to get there?

Something might be wrong with that picture.

Oh, also, just because you say players are "sacrificing eleventy-billion seasons to be good for twelve seconds before they retire omg!" doesn't make it true.
