joe should just shutup because after the season we will let him go and everyone will be happy.

case closed as i say it again!!!

he won't be happy. clearly. he is losing out on XP. I mean, if you ban him from the forums is it necessary to cut him from the starting squad as well?

If its not true they should have nothing to hide and benching him shows us the exact opposite

I was told I would not be released.

but you were still benched. you still playing <10 plays a game?

i have a lot of ideas about what may or may not have happened, but this is the reason i can't shake the bad off the bandits.
it doesn't feel right to take his play time.
AND saying you aren't going to put your SP on your player when you level is NOT the same thing as sabotaging the team. You really kind of hurt yourself, you don't perform as well, you don't get the stats. But to be honest, a player has the right to withhold and/or alot his SP however he sees fit. This is not a legitimate reason to smear his name.

actually he said that ray day was on vacation, he said it was fine if u told him u were going to be inactive for a while as long as u told him. for example ulk armadon(former center) was inactive consectutive days. so we traded him for cash considerations. and i got more playing time ! Did catspaw post on the private forums about the traded HB being inactive? Did he state how he was unhappy about it? Did he post about how he wanted to get rid of him? Was the HB in question inactive for a long time? Did BillyVassi have access to see this?

Did catspaw post that a backup good CB was needed? Did BillyVassi have access to see this?

Did the inactive HB get traded for the needed backup CB , who was active? Was BillyVassi the one to get the needed CB to the Bandits? Did the Bandits give up a player that played only a few downs, was inactive, and was worth not much to the Bandits?

But what if catspaw knew what was happening? The guy is smart enough to know that if a GM of a team (not owner) that is on one of his team is offering a CB (that they need, because catspaw said they needed it) for an inactive...he knew what was going on. He is smart enough.

Joe, that's the one part that, as of yet, has to be proven. He knew that he got an 'advantage' on the trade, but as of yet, I won't say Cats knew there was a gutting going on.

Everything else you've argued, I'm in agreement with you so far on this entire situation; but as of yet, I've not seen any proof that catspaw knew exactly what was going on.

Catspaw knows that no team would trade a starting CB for an inactive player no matter what the level.

big, there may be times when this actualy does occur.. a team needs to cut some salary, or willing to take someone who may just be "temporarily' inactive when you're out of the playoffs, then I could see this occuring (as a rare occurence).

I am only going to play like 5 plays a game. How am I really hurting myself or the team at all by not using the points?

it hasnt been disproven either. odds are he knew it was a crappy and suspicious deal. all he had to do was look at the team which isnt hard to believe

While we are arguing about something that happened in Oceania, they're still under English Common Law. Under English common law, and in America, the very basis of the legal system is that you're innocent until proven guilty...

My job as a prosecutor would be A LOT easier if I could just say, "Well, the defendant hasn't proven that he ISN'T guilty."

Reread the forum. Nothing about the latest inactive HB being on vacation. He went AWOL.

but you are failing to see the error in your logic. this is not a court of law. more or less it is a court of public opinion. there are not courts of law in GLB. so the i'm a lawyer mumbo jumbo doesn't really fly.

the only way we would be able to prove it is that he confesses so whats the point of arguing w/you. someone on your team cheated for you guys so the whole team is held accountable

stop being so damned defensive, that wasn't an attack on you. And now that you are acknowledging my existence I would love an answer to my previous question. What is it that you want out of this? What do you hope to accomplish?

I'm not saying I'm a lawyer to make myself sound great, I only did so to perhaps lend credibility to some of my claims about why this is or isn't collusion.

As for this being a court of public opinion... if that's the case, then we've got problems. Nothing would every be decided fairly, and of course, everyone's going to come down hard on the team that's 13-0. I'm not saying this is a court of law at all, but I hardly think that the fate of the Bandits should be left to the public's opinion...

That IS COLLUSION...by definition...

It's quite not, actually. Collusion is depleting a team to build up another team. No team was depleted by that move, it was an equal trade.

Collusion is two people working together outside of the normal business stream to circumvent internal controls with the intent of committing a fraudulent act.
