This was way before my time when you can watch the game live. Why did they do away with this feature of the option was there already. Any way great idea

It'd also be great if an owner can save certain replays and send them to his players to show what went right/wrong and how they can improve...kind of like breaking down the game video

Seems like a great idea. I think it would be cool to watch the game unfold live and talk with teammates.

you can already do this - just copy the links from the play by play and send them via PM

i think what should happen is instead of showing replays, it shows one play happen after another on the "play screen" (opening another window), and then you can talk to your teammates there. Even better, being able to change tactics or boost players mid-game.

NO and NO. those are not going to happen - this is an idea for watching the game - not influencing the game.

live games will never happen here - and i believe boosting players mid game and changing tactics mid game are also never going to happen

I agree lets not ruin this idea with and Idea that is not going to happen, just keep it how it is.

Im new here and I thought live games were a no-brainer.
I would agree to the 2 teams only chat room. If you coulnt make the game for some reason no big deal but to sit and watch you and your teammates play would rock.

Is there gambling issues to deal with?

well - you would have to ask bort for the real answer -

but in my opinion live games will never happen because it just isn't the nature of the game - owners / coordinators / and even players would all have to be online at the same time - say 2pm every other day for one of my teams -

it just wouldn't happen - which means only the teams that could have representatives there would modify tactics - which would give a huge advantage - so the teams that can't have a rep there probably wouldn't play very long..as they'd be getting whipped.


it just doesn't fit in with the whole idea of the game...the idea that games happen offline - all work must be done before then - and other than that - the time committment to the game is as much or as little as you want to put in.


BUT - make a suggestion in the suggestion forum that says "run the games live so we can adjust after every play" and you'll get a much, much more thorough explanation than i've given here.
