Haha, before Zork my brother and I wrote a text based game similar in style in Q Basic on the Commodore VIC-20.... good times when you have to start loading the game (on a cassette tape drive), go outside and play for a few hours, come back inside to find the game still loading, go back outside, come back in to down a half gallon of Kool Aid in 2.4 seconds..... game still not loaded, back outside, back inside to find the game loaded. Hell yeah! Play game for 5-10 minutes then a string error pops up.
