Wow, low scoring game. So I assume you're going to state playoffs? How do you figure you guys matchup?

Yeah - They were able to slow us down, and limit our second chances... And where we make our bread and butter - Fast breaks.

They played a great game, while we may have played our worst game all season.

First we have the district tournament. If we finish in the top 2 (Make it to the finals) we'll go to the state tournament. If we win the district tournament we'll have homecourt advantage until we play against a higher seeded team (Which wouldn't be until Lakeland, because I'm sure we'll be #2. Final four is played in Lakeland FL every year).

And from there...
I'd say we could beat anyone. Dillard would be our toughest game, they're #1 in state, and were nationally ranked at the beginning of the season. Their smallest player is 6'4... It's like playing against an NBA or D1 College team. It's ridiculous.
Who knows. Just gotta take it game by game, and put in our best effort and see how far it gets us.
I just don't want our first loss to be the one that ends our season... That would be a horrible feeling.

You guys aren't in the top 100 in the nation. I was hoping to find you on there. Orlando schools are on there like 4x! Surprised there too lol.

Nah, we wouldn't be.
We haven't played enough nationally known teams.

We've played... I believe... 5 or 6 state ranked teams at some point or another...
But we aren't in any nationally prestigious tournaments, or play any nationally ranked teams.

So not surprised.
That may, and should change, within the next month though when we hopefully walk away with a state championship.

Yeah... No kidding.
I know last year when we played them...

They had two 6'11 forwards. And played a 3 guard system, where the smallest was 6'4 (The other two were 6'5).
It's insane.

I am 6'5". The only way I stand a chance in basketball is if I am playing people 6'5" and under. I can't imagine trying to post up on some dude that is 6" taller than me, lol.

Yeah.
No kidding.

Now try posting up on him.... And trying to stop him from posting up...
It... Is... Not... Fun....
Especially when he has you outweighed by like 40 lbs.

Thanks, it's been a really fun season. One more to go though. You guys have a good squad and have been classy throughout. We'll "represent" for the West in this next game and hopefully see a lot of you guys in A5 next year...

I've had fun in this league. My only regret is that we didn't run the talbe, but that's what you get for just assuming your're going to win.

I will be glad to be in a higher league next year where there is potentially only 1 or 2 gutted teams.

Yes I would say Canton made an ass out of me. We shouldn't have lost that game.

Hello and welcome to the new teams in the 3b10. It's a tradition for this league to keep this thread alive.

Good luck in season 8.
