I'm also slow building a DE using the Elusive path. Here what he looks like at lv 10, with 8 SP saved up.

Strength: 17.5 Blocking: 11.8
Speed: 49.18 Tackling: 15.5
Agility: 51.17 Throwing: 9
Jumping: 11.8 Catching: 8
Stamina: 26.56 Carrying: 8
Vision: 11.8 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 11.8 Punting: 10

I think im going to get Speed to the 68 cap ASAP while training Agility/Vision on intense. Stamina is all EQ btw, with a few training points from the old system in it.

You're better off training stamina, and then shifting over your equipment to speed/agility as you gain up enough stamina. With that high speed and agility, you're not getting your money's worth out of training. You could very easily hit 25 stamina before you hit 55 speed. Moving all the point to speed, you gain much more.

I'm on a slow build team rigth now, that's the only reason why I have all my EQ in stamina. Your absolutely right through, I should be training stamina but my top priority now is training vision + something while I get speed to 68 and unfortunatly there's no Vision + Stamina training combo.

I'm also going to use JBrown/Casey Hampton's format and leave the build open (for now) and try to update here as often as I can. Here is the starting build:

Strength: 13
Blocking: 10
Speed: 20
Tackling: 14
Agility: 12
Throwing: 8
Jumping: 10
Catching: 8
Stamina: 10
Carrying: 8
Vision: 10
Kicking: 8
Confidence: 10
Punting: 8

A natural 20 in speed - didn't think it was possible! I say our DEs have a little competition in a few seasons.

My DE's starting roll was 18 speed/17 agility I think. That was the best I could find.

miked: I remember you talking about changing your equipment to agility did you end up doing that?

Well I trained my DE's Speed / Agility (with some Stamina) until level 4 when I could get his speed to 48 using SP's, now I'll train Agility / Vision with Stamina thrown in.

If anyone has a slow-build team and needs a DE by the way, Dan Gheesling would love to play for ya. Not the point of this reply, just throwing it out there.

I'm hoping he'll be a *little* more productive with his speed at the soft-cap.

Vision is almost at first soft cap, then gonna get speed and agility 2 second soft cap. What's a good TV level?

You want it maxed eventually. At 6-7 you'll start to see a big difference.
For everyone else, I'll get back to you in few days. My computer is broken, phone is my only internet access right now.

Does this roll have too much agility & too little speed?
Strength: 12
Speed: 14 Tackling: 13
Agility: 18 Throwing: 8

I rolled a 17 speed/16 agility, but I accidentally rolled again

Honestly, I just looked for flat 8s in the nonessential skills and didn't really worry how high my speed/agility were.

I am looking to add lvl 24 equip to my RE. Which build would be better?

1) Speed 76; agility 55
or
2) Speed 72; agility 59

Thanks

Put all equipment into one stat, so #1.

Disagree, I would increase agility even if the other equipment is in speed.
