GG Dragons. Certainly didn't expect that outcome after our shoot out during the season.

Does every single player on SoCal's roster have Clutch and Big Heart? Or do they wait until the 4th quarter for the good AI? These comebacks are ridiculous.

This. When I watched our game in the first round, I thought we had it locked up early. Up 20-3 at the half, I was feeling pretty confident. Unable to distance ourselves, I was still feeling good going into the 4th up 23-10. Then they beat the crap out of us in the 4th to get the win.

And nothing makes me want to throw my laptop across the room more than losing to Dev and seeing this guy at the top of the top players mocking me: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1708135
Keep that in mind, Buda.

It's not really AI. If you watch our playoff game, their 2nd half surge is powered by a KO Return TD, Interception Return TD, then a fumble recovery on the 21.5 yard line, which setup another quick TD.
In our regular season game (in which they scored the last 31 points, but ran out of time), their surge started with a KO Return TD, again had a Interception Return TD.
I think perhaps it is just the aggressive nature of their gameplans (heavy blitzing, perhaps aggressive tackling and coverage tactics) which allows them to make some big plays in the second half when the impact of those plays on morale is bigger and thus a morale spiral is easier to force.

In that case, you should be pulling for us to win. Otherwise, he will have his 72 EQ next season and might be mocking you again

this imo. rumor has a 50% reduction in 2H morale for S23 ....

I am pulling for you to win. I have a ton of respect for you and the Dev boys. Not that I don't have respect for Buda.
That said, I enjoy the little rivalry (if you want to call an 0-3 record vs. you a rivalry) and would not be terribly upset to continue it next season.

its gonna be a body bag game
to that .. hoping on a fair sim
I don't think we are pissed to be in OPL for Season 22. I was disappointed midway thru last season when I realized our season was slipping away and we had missed alot of opportunities (took ESL to OT, Hali to OT, lost to Odessa by 5), but IF (and this is a big IF) we can get back to WL for Season 23 then this trip back to OPL really was good for us. We needed to move alot of our 2nd generation players to Devonport and being in OPL allowed us to move some dots that we might have been afraid to move to WL. I would rather have come back for Season 22 and go back S23 ready to stick, then stuck in S22 and dropped for S23.
With that said, our roster for next season should be the best that we have ever had (especially if we are in WL), and I am not going to be happy wasting a season of their plateau in the Pros. Thus, we want to win this very much. It's a shame one of us has to lose.
