Being able to visually share tactics will accomplish virtually nothing.

While a build once seen won't change much between views; tactics are specific to the gameplan they are to support - they basically require immediate attention (i.e the player agent to set them accordingly). If they aren't set properly because the agent can't set them (he's not logged in) - whats the point in viewing them to begin with?

Ohhhh, Joe Blow's tactics weren't set accordingly. The likely reality is that agents players on all the other teams he's got players on aren't set properly either if the teams change them between logins too.

What would be better is for the player agents to be able to adopt team tactics with a checkbox. That way when the following happens real life ALL his guys on ALL his teams can still support their teams properly till he gets back no matter how many times the teams change tactics:

................a) Teams having multiple games with different tactics in one day (Regular games, friendlies or tournaments).
................b) Player agent has multiple players on multiple teams doing a) above or needing to be maintained during c) below.
................c) Player agent is gonna be offline for multiple days - i.e. he does have a life outside of the internet afterall.
................d) Unforseen factors making it impossible to login in - even if the guy was crazy enough to put logging in a priority over recovering from a hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, etc.

The point of viewing them is... well, let me illustrate with an example.

I ask my speed-back to switch from Elusive running to Balanced or Power running so that I can try using him more on inside runs to surprise our next opponent. He says "Okay" but gets distracted and never actually does it. I log-in the morning of the game and see he said "Okay" but didn't change it, so I can send him another PM and let him know he didn't actually change it.

If he logs in before our late-afternoon game, great! He sees my PM and changes it.

If he doesn't log in before our late-afternoon game, then as we get closer to game-time, I can at least adjust my gameplan so that he doesn't get used on those inside runs, and then come up with something else to do instead.

Just because you can't think of a way this would help you doesn't mean everyone else can't think of a way this could help them either.

Not a bad idea... best way to proceed on that one though would be for you to go start your own Suggestions thread on it. It won't get much attention if you just post it on Page 17 of this thread.

My point is it's better to have the agents have the ability to make sure they are ALWAYS on the same page with the team - if they want to be. There are few situations where that wouldn't be the case, but one of them is a player who joins a team that is transitioning and just using this season to let guys who don't have teams have a team - and let guys experiment with the AI.

There are enough things for coordinators to do just to come up with a gameplan, let alone making 11th hour changes based on having to rifle through player by player an overstocked roster as it is.

There are enough people that litter the board with suggestions that I'm sure that someone will post this as their own suggestion.

+1, as a team owner I'd like the option for dots on my teams to let me see what they're setting tactics too.
I would also like to be able to share the tactics my guys are using with the team if desired. hurry up and implement imo.

Thank you. This is the part the -1'ers are overlooking, in my opinion. As an agent, I want the team owners I play for to be able to see if my dot's tactics haven't been updated, so they can shoot me a PM and ask me to change it. Right now, Bort doesn't let me have that option.

And for the guys who want to keep their tactics hidden, I'm fine with that too. And you'll still have that option if this is implemented, just like you can keep your builds hidden right now as well.

Exactly. There's no way this game is ready to leave Beta by the end of S25 or w/e they said until they start taking this suggestion forum seriously and implementing a lot of these minor optional suggestions and what not.

By the time the agent gets the PM to change his tactics it's probably already too late. Seeing doesn't go nearly far enough if the goal is to close the disconnect between a team changing tactics and the players making sure they get those changes implemented in time.

Personally i'm not as concerned that a player changes it, as to whether i know what settings the player has when the game sims so i can either adjust or figure out how different settings compare. So your issue with that "it would be too late" doesn't apply to me.

I simply want to know, so i can learn from watching the players whether one setting might be better. Or to know if player A is always 5 yards deeper in coverage, if it's possibly because of his tactics or just the build or bad luck or whatever.
