Thats quite abit of points to score on WSI.

Eh, we outscored them in the 4th anyways despite the cruise control kicking in.

GG Osaka.

True, the defense didn't do much at all, but how often have you seen a team score that many points against WSI?

If its cruise control, then that throws it all out the window.

The offense and defense was set up on different settings for each quarter to gain a wide variety of looks since you never know what Bort is going to code each season.

Side note: 1st quarter was last years settings, 4th quarter was some things I wanted to run as I thought they would work very well....the middle game was some crazy stuff that didn't work at all.

Triple side note: Still freaking owned. Trying to make excuses. G freaking G

Hahahaha. You guys remind me of the jackasses in Canada who think that scrimmages actually mean something. Yes, we spent time to gameplan for a game that means nothing. If this happened during the regular season you'd get something more out of it. Winning a scrim game and bragging about it is like winning 1st place at the special olympics.

they have won 40 games in a row.....to say they are bragging doesn't make sense...they are the Champions until proven otherwise. It seems you guys cannot handle you are just not the caliber of team you thought you were....It will be nice to see you running in the middle of the pack for the playoffs. Just hope your good enough to crack the top 10 in this league.

LOL. You obviously know nothing about GLB if you are arguing that CPL puts too much stock in scrimmages. It's the exact opposite, actually.

The bolded part of Zack's is WAY true. To an extreme actually. They pretend that "scrimmages" in tournaments and against elite teams don't matter at all. Until they win one, that is.

The bolded part of bill's is also true so long as you remember the (I believe implied) caveat that there are "scrimmages", and then there are out of league games that GLB calls "scrimmages". Big difference between those two.

If you are trying to win pre-season scrimages you are going to miss out on alot of 'free' testing bort has given us.

In-Season scrimages or out of league games are very important though. Rankings and league bragging rights ride on them.

I think its safe to say that everyone is trying out new tactics, it would be foolish not to. The competitive side of winning is always there though, even with testing, the better team usually comes out on top.
