Here's my question that i havent seen addressed. Would we get a forecast before hand? If there will be penalties to performance and this being a sim we cant adjust on the fly dont we need it? Or perhaps an AI Weather adjustment?

As cool as this sounds, can we get the sim working right first before tacking on more fluff.
I don't want to read 30 posts a day where the party line goes from "Moar vision" to "WIND/SNOW/RAIN IMO"

and when would you know the weather? would you have the option of installing a rain AI or a snow AI based on the weather? I can see the flood of support PMs already asking to have all dome leagues.

Weather would be determined before the game, or we could have a weekly weather report for a 7 day forecast.

Sure, if they add the Domed Stadium option...cost about $6,000,000 to the team.
AA & up could afford it, if they want it.
I would love to see some Inclement Weather VAs. That would give some teams a reason to keep having an open air stadium.
Snow Man : sees a lesser effect from snowed in games. 3%
Hoggin : sees a lesser effect from the rainy games. 3%
Playing the Fade : passer/receiver are able to gauge the curve to the pass due to windy games. 3%

i may not have read it but maybe certain teams could have a certain type of weather instead of it being completely randomized. Think of GB having snow late in the year or Tampa Bay getting more rain then snow. Would teams be able to decide what kind of weather they want to primarily have?
Maybe heavy run teams would want to be in a place where it rains a major part of the year or passing teams eliminate the weather by getting a dome altogether. This would really make home field advantage a big deal

I love this idea, but we would need a weather forcast a couple of days in advance to prepare for it. If you did do this, then the next thing should be an option to buy a dome or a roof for the stadium, of course it would need to cost a lot of money.

it should not be difficult, imo. weather is fairly consistent in certain areas. have a world map, teams select where they are located and then have the weather patters for the various regions give a % of inclement weather. Dome Stadium will, of course, nullify the weather.
Taking random numbers:
Midwest: ~20% chance of rain in the last 1/2 of the season & ~10% chance of snow in the last 1/4 of the season.
Canada N or W: ~ 50% chance of snow in last 1/2 of the season.
S Cal: ~10% chance of wind & / or rain.
Florida: ~15% chance of rain.

I like it as long as we get the forecast for the game.. I don't want to pass 75% of the time if there is hail and strong winds outside..
