Actually it is, but very few of the "standard" plays are. You can get instant sacks by changing the positioning and assignments of DL / LBs.

this.... someone managed to delete my huge rant in the "DPC removal" discussion thread, but the gist of it was that First Step is annoyingly unrealistic, and it exacerbates the current blocking logic issue

anyways, can't wait for them to neuter defenses in S20 (naturally after this season of defensive domination)

As long as first step goes away on offense as well, fully agree.

and S20 will be back to 60-54 games I'm sure.

Why we so serious? Jdros has been blitzing fools since season 1. This is nothing new. Some seasons they completely nerf it on us, some seasons it works.

yes they are. Just not effectively.

Osaka didn't blitz us today though. They just have some funky dline alignments that cause their DEs to bounce off the OT's for instant sacks in the previous games I had watched.

Not sure why Mike/5star didn't hold our TE back and block more. I think the game could've been a lot closer if we had more time to game plan (Turkey got in the way).

might have just been their OT, but seemed to be pretty effective. Haven't seen a bounce like that in a while.

we only got 5 sacks from our LBs as it was. I was surprised you didn't run it more effectively though, that's what I thought I needed to be concerned about.

I run the defense... We didn't blitz today - minus a few man/blitz scenarios.
