Why does it matter? ALB is a beatable team just like everyone in this league. Remember when people thought New Brunswick was unstoppable, well guess what? A bunch of lvl 4-5 Michigan Rage players took them down. Remember when we thought Manhattan was unstoppable? Well guess what, they didnt even win the Super Bowl.

1. They have terrible chemistry.
2. Remember Malkias Trombas the QB who was a lvl 18? Yeah, well he just about led the league in INTs. Why? Not a very good build. LVLs dont matter as much as we think.

KINGV: How about you don't lump everyone into the category of people who would wish actual harm on your owner or who wish ill will on his son. #1 I agree that type of talk is in poor form and #2 it makes you look just as childish. For what it's worth, I don't think talk of personal issues belong here anyways... especially in regards to trying to use these issues as an excuse (whether they are true or not) for collusion in an online game.

Monoxide: You've essentially admitted to it and yet find nothing wrong with it. Congrats.

What a lot of people are missing is this: Sure the xp penalty is all well and good... and I think a few seasons from now, it could do some good. But the difference in levels nowadays makes it a pretty pointless fix right now. The math has already been done on our league and we can already tell its not going to affect them at all. Where the Devils have a HUGE leg up on the rest of this league is in their depth. Yeah, they have holes...but they're tiny. They have instantly become even a far deeper team than Wala Wala was by the end of last season. Depth of roster is HUGE in this game where owners every week struggle just to be able to compete with their starting lineup... much less with their second and third string. If things are left the way they are now, sure most games with them will be competitive in the first half. But when most of the teams in this league start having to make subs in the third and fourth quarter, the scores will start to show the real issue here. Mark my words.

Well in the A league where we are now there is a team that just did what monoxide did. Bort banned the owners who gutted and repo'd their teams. So i would expect bort to take action against monoxide and ban him and his goons and repo their teams as well here in the near future. He has a 0 tolerance policy it seems. Goodbye monoxide hope to not see you soon.

You know throughout this thread, No one has thought of the team that was gutted. Yes I can say that, because I am rebuilding my team, because I felt that was what happened to it. That is why I got that 1.5 million in penalty money...Because it was my teams money to begin with.

The Devils did nothing different than the former owner of the ShadowBlades did. In fact what they did was worse. He only took his players. I have been trying to put together a team that can compete in this conference, and then someone goes and tries to pull a fast one..... Well then, owner, GM, and Players of th Devils you are not sportsmen, nor are you honest. So what I ahve to say to you is this, if it is just a game, why are you willing to do just about anything to win a championship? Including bending the rules to suit your own needs.....

None of my players wanted to stay on that team. I was not going to let people sit there with a new owner who odds are doesn't know what hes doing. They deserved better. If I was willing to do anything and be dishonest I would have gave all the players bonuses, traded everyone here, not give people the option to come/stay/be released, not built the stadium sections for the team. you got 1.5mil good when they get ticket sales the they will have 10x that if not more.

No one wanted to stay on the team because you got smashed in that league so you decided to come beatup on a considerably lower league. I can see the hypothetical forum post/PMs now "LOLZ, weez gonna beat us up some nOObz, LOL!!!"

It is my understanding that you did give them some cash and the money was returned, right?

You missed my point on that... I got the 1.5 mil back, that belonged to the team in the first place. I do not care what they will get in ticket sales, nor do I care what you get. You did the same thing, except you didn't try to bankrupt a team.

I hope karma is a bitch and all, but man, I feel sorry for the guys in the west who had the job of trying to build a contender from a BBB team, and were looking to this season as a chance to really step up. I thought we were going to have a dogfight all season between Caprica, Lima, Rushmores, etc. for those top spots, all of whom legitimately deserve it. Outside chemistry, I'm not sure now.

I don't think I've ever responded directly to one of you Michigan boys and I'm sorry that this is my first BUT.....

Back off and stay out of it. It's easy to preach the whole "Be cool" aspect of this because quite frankly you aren't NEARLY as affected by it.

YOU still get to compete for the East title on the same playing field that was there before without some great level 18 exodus into your half....

I'll be honest. I don't give a frog's fat arse if we win the "Championship". I want to win the West Half of the bracket and move UP... THAT is my goal. A Championship is gravy on top for me.... I want this team to move up and Alberquerque (Many of the new players having ALREADY WON A TITLE AND MOVED UP) knows what I'm talking about and they all get to move down and try to beat up on us and try it again....

That is bullshit.... Again, in all fairness to them I don't think their intent was to screw over anybody else, but they simply weren't thinking when they concocted this plan to move here and how it would affect anyone else and THAT is what ticks me off....

YOU still have the SAME chance to move up that you did before so you cannot possibly fathom how annoying this is to those of us who thought it may have been our year to move up.....

I hope Imaca is correct and that something happens that sets this straight. Not for any revenge, but simply to give us back the same odds we had before this.

Yeah, this is majorly unfair. I'm shocked the admins can't swap the entire team with a gutted team in one of the higher level mature divisions. There are still teams in established divisions who'd jump at the chance to go to BBB.

I own a AAA team but started out many of my players with the Rushmores since many of us on the team are all from the same FF message board. I signed them with Payton when all but one of them were lvl.1 guys just hoping for some playing time, and built them up over a season. Most of those guys are lvl 11-14 today. I also have a couple of more mature higher level players who weren't ever on the Rushmores. This offseason when my lvl 17 WR became a free agent I didn't even think about signing in BBB with the Rushmores. My high level guys belonged with a high-level team. Sure it would've been sweet the first few times to see a WR with 60+ speed blow the doors off somebody's lvl 6 backup CB, but then it would've felt dirty. Like being the high school kid playing pick up basketball with the middle schoolers. What's worse is that some of the Alberquerque players are actually acting like that high school kid who not only plays with the little kids, but talks smack about it too.
