Stadium Upgrade Maintenance Contracts
All of the suggested Stadium Upgrades would require a maintenance costs. The actual stadium itself should also require a maintenance cost.
Total maintenance costs would be determined and billed as a "Maintenance Contract"
There could also be a factor that would determine how old each upgrade is, and therefore billed even more money to the Maintenance Contract. Think of a 20 Year old stadium roof costing more to maintain than a 2 Year old stadium roof (logical to me).
Single Upgrade Purchased:
Only the designated maintenance fee would apply per year.
7.5% of each Stadium Upgrade would equal the Maintenance Cost. Every season after the purchase of a upgrade would increase the cost of the Mainteance by 10%.
Example: Stadium Roof (Retractable) is purchased during Season 10. The initial cost is $25,000,000 for the stadium and $1,750,000 for the Mainteance of that season, totaling $26,875,000. The Maintenance Costs for each additional season would equal the Maintenance Cost for the previous season plus 10% of that cost.
Season 0 Costs = $26,875,000 (Purchase Price + Base Maintenance Cost)
Season 1 Costs = $2,062,500 (Base Maintenance Cost + 10% X 1 Season)
Season 2 Costs = $2,268,750 (Maintenance Cost From Season 1 + 10% of Season 1's Maintenance Costs)
Season 3 Costs = $2,495,625 (Maintenance Cost From Season 1 + 10% of Season 1's Maintenance Costs)
This forumal system would cause the maintenance cost to increase each season per upgrade (simulating actual wear and tear on a physical stadium/purchases and that as they age, they cost more per year).
These forulas would be used for each upgrade purchased throughout a stadium's exisitance. Just simply add the cost per upgrade for a Season's total Maintenance cost for Upgrades.
Base Stadium Maintenance Costs
Maintenance costs for the stadium itself would be determined by each seating section. The more sections purchased, the more the maintenance.
100 Bowl (10 Sections) = $25,000 per Section (per Season)
200 Bowl (10 Sections) = $45,000 per Section (per Season)
300 Bowl (4 Sections) = $65,000 per Section (per Season)
Just like the Upgrades Maintenance Costs, the Base Stadium Maintenance Costs would increase each season after the purchase season.
100 Bowl (10 Sections) would increase by 2.5% each additional season (per section)
200 Bowl (10 Sections) would increase by 4% each additional season (per section)
300 Bowl (4 Sections) would increase by 6.5% each additional season (per section)
Example: Owner completes 100 Bowl before season 10;
Season 10: Costs of the purchases + $250,000 for the maintenance of that season.
Season 11 = $275,000 (10 % of $250,000 (Season 10 Maintenance Costs) + Previous Season's Maintenance Costs)
Season 12 = $302,500 (10 % of $275,000 (Season 11 Maintenance Costs) + Previous Season's Maintenance Costs)
You can see how this will continue to increase Base Stadium Maintenance Costs.
