Dunno if this has been asked - are tiers for teams going to be similar? Like by age?

While many of the "training gain to SP Value" sweet spots are actually fairly deep into the build, one of the initial worries about doing away with ALGs was that it simply changed the ideal build to one that opened with a ton of SAs.
I didn't consider that. Without AGL's agents would wait until they reached plateau and then apply all their SP's. Hopefully Bort figured out a way to avoid that and make it so agents want to apply SP's right away.

if there is no advantage for waiting to apply SP, why would anyone do that?
without ALGs its just less complicated for the casual user to just stumble across the game and start playing.

Well, there are training gains to be had by applying SPs. If you took away ALGs and then intense trained the same attribute for 10 seasons and then spent all your SPs, that attribute would be lower than if you spent SPs to cap the attribute throughout the build in order to maximize training gains.

What if training was like ALGs in GLB:TNG?

Training ignores SP caps, but slowly gets weaker over the life of the build?
