Not looking to deflect it to you, you said you didn't have the time/effort to go and look through, so I compiled some for you. No deflection, just addressing you since you asked about it.

And I thank you for it as there is a lot of dumb crap to look over in 150 pages of mad. But ya, I see it as deflection. I am sure there will be a more concrete announcement in time regarding the game matters. First announcement looked to be more of a "we aren't going to lash out back at Aaron nor are we going to discuss the reason he was let go" deal. They are letting people voice their frustration which I like. Instead of locking it all up.

actually they are not locking it up to allow discussion/letting people vent in one thread. As for the posts deleted, DD said they aren't going to help spread what was said when someone asked why he was deleting posts.

Right. I maintain the only way this will get resolved is for bort to show up, field questions, and have an honest and open discussion with the userbase about what happened, why it happened, and where GLB is going from here. He needs to address the GLB people and probably reward everyone with a free player or two for the shady, backroom, give the high rollers special treatment behavior that's been brought to light.

DD has pissed a lot of people in this thread off, and has lost credibility with a lot of people, especially those who believe what Catch had to say (and given that there hasn't been any info given otherwise to contradict his account, it's hard not to). He's failed to give hard answers and has been what can easily be interpreted as dismissive and deflective. The other admins, being bort and DD's friends and family, have likely lost a lot of favor in the community as well.

Bort's the only one left, imo, who's really got any standing left in the eyes of a lot of the people here. The creator of dotball. He's the godfather. You shut your whore mouth when Bort is talking.

Bort's pretty much the only person who can salvage this PR nightmare, imo, because he has that respect and that power.

DD seems to really want to be a forum cool guy. His issues are two fold:

1) He's not very good at it.

2) He's admin.

So he comes off as a dbag (who knows, maybe he really is?). At least dog was/is smart enough to play cool guy on a multi account and smart enough to come off as professional when posting as Admin. Hell, I'll bet cornblade handles all this in a professional manner here when he posts on it. I'll bet we don't see DB seeping though his corndog posts.
