In my experience DS are quite aggressive when it comes to recruitment of top notch dots on the marketplace. And with their credentials, I imagine most people approached sign with them. I barely ever notice DS dots on the marketplace or on other teams outside the network. That's not saying it's a bad way to do things, I'm sure every network recruit some dots from the outside, but most people with a lot of dots spread them around more than the DS people.

I assume DS is generous with their dots tbh. They just have enough connections to where they dont need to advertise them in the Marketplace. Honestly thats how most of my recruiting is done. and Thats how I find most of the homes for my dots. Private forums and Pms to people I know.

Nope. I think Hickster lent me one of his after I'd lent him one of mine, but then there was some kind of shitstorm because MoJames signed a dot with me for one season instead of a DS team. It's a shame because Hickster & MoJames are both fun agents to have around. Maybe the other DS guys are too, but I'd never know because I'll never coordinate any of their dots.

This is mostly right. We don't advertise in the PLFT forum very often, especially not early as day 20 through end of the season. Our agents typically wait until our WL and Pro rosters are filled up which wraps up around day 41-42. We always end up with extra WL caliber dots. I get multiple PM's every off-season from WL and Pro owners looking for certain positions and do my best to accommodate if we have extras. Ask around and you'll know this to be true.

The fact is most have no clue how DS functions internally because we're not a group of public posters that advertise our business. We're not interested in confirmation from the masses. I think people assume a lot and it's usually the worst when that happens.

This is probably right and yes we do aggressively go after top dots in the market place. Most if not all networks probably have more of their dots on other teams than us as well. I think this is because we wait so long to finish our next season rosters (day40-41). Our agents are willing to hold dots until our rosters are complete. We're not going to compromise the quality of our WL rosters by advertising our dots on day 20-40 when it's possible we may need them. The WL recruiters that know this about us are the one's that always spam my inbox around day 40-41 asking what we have left over lol.

I do understand most rosters finished well before day 41 but that's when we usually find out who's left over and it's always a good amount.

I don't really want to compete against people who have a defeated attitude. I'll take the guy who gets his ass kicked 20 straight times and keeps coming back for more, figuring out what they did wrong, why the lost, coming at you even harder each time until he's knocks your ass out and he will if the motivation is there.

Everyone want's the quick and easy way to the top. There isn't one.

Your right but if you aren't in a network there is NO way to the top and I think that's what people are complaining about in this thread. Doesn't help that the networks have the "you just hate us because we are good" attitude when that's not the case
