relative to even that list, there was 1 guy better at breaking tackles, and only a couple better at getting extra yardage, and very few better in short yardage situations. he fits right in.
and seriously having Bo Jackson on your list is just being fucking stupid imo...he had a ton of great potential but hardly showcased it at all.
There is no doubt in my mind he could have gone down as the greatest ever but that will never be supported nor has that line even been stepped upon. He got a bum rap but I am not gonna invent his legacy based on Techmo superbowl.

This isn't as much of a career list as much as it was who was the most dominant football players I ever watched, I was never completely blown away by Emmitt smith or curtis martin but I understand there place and why they were great 1. Adrian Peterson 2. Barry Sanders 3. Ladainian Tomlinson 4. Marshall Faulk 5.Terrell Davis 6. Thurman Thomas 7. Emmitt Smith 8.Curtis Martin
I never really got to appreciate how great Dickerson and Payton was so I left them off my list but if I was making a top 10 list from everything I have read, everything I have heard and every story thats ever been told to me from watching football with my oldman for 30 years I would score it like this
old men say dumb things because they just want to be relevant. No way Gale Sayers or Cambell are more impressive than any dude on your list or Emmitt Smith. That is absolute shit coming out of his mouth at best.

not only was that highlight reel less impressive than even Ahman Green of that time but dear lord he should not even be mentioned in the top 30 of all time.
