I think that's a dangerous line for the bank. Most people are going to take EZ there and unless we pull off a big upset you'll take a bath. Even action is usually the goal of the bank, unless you think you know something other people don't and can put out a line that is attractive to them, but you don't think would cover.

I think EZ -7.5 would potentially get you equal action.

Is there a guide somewhere where I can learn how this betting thing works with lines and things like that?

Example: Indianapolis Rush -7.5 Vs. Oakland Raiders

This is saying the Rush is going to win by 7.5 points or more. You can take the Raiders saying they are going to cover the spread, which means they will not lose by 7.5 points. So if the Raiders lost by 6 points and you took the Raiders then you would have won. If the Raiders would have lost by 8 points then you would have lost.
Rules for this game is that you must bet on atleast 4 different games. You have 20 points to bet.
