i have infatuation with Lincoln because they beat you and your throwing a million excuses out there as to why they arent a great team? how does it mean nothing? before the season everyone wrote MEM and HHW off as 1-2 with one of them finishing undefeated...now someones exposed both teams back to back...id say that says a lot....obviously the title is the real thing anyones worried about...but until the playoffs come, what else is there to talk about?

Sounds like we all agree that the game is in the past and will have no bearing on future matchups between Lincoln and MEM. As for the rest of your post, I'm sure we will lose a few games between now and the end of the season. The level of competition is very high and we respect that. As for us not being "very good" ... I guess that's your opinion and you are obviously entitled to it. I gotta say it really does reek of sour grapes though. If we aren't very good and you have better builds AND better tactics (your words), how did we produce a 17-point victory?

Everyone affiliated with MEM knew before the season that "experts" had anointed them as the greatest collection of GLB talent ever assembled. Let me use a hypothetical to make my point ...
If the University of Florida played the New York Giants and UF won the game, they'd be elated. They wouldn't have won the Super Bowl. They would have won a "meaningless" exhibition game. However, they would have proved that it was doable despite the fact that every "expert" on the planet would have said it couldn't be done.

I might have missed a post on the Lincoln end but our excitement wasn't ever intended to be a slap in MEM's face. It was our excitement over winning another game where we were supposed to be put in our place - nothing more and nothing less.

Just so my position is clear --

Anyone who takes dotball seriously and gets personally offended by winning or losing a dotgame, should punch themselves in the balls until they pass out from the pain. While they are passed out .. every article of clothing they are wearing should be stapled to the floor to prevent further movement when they regain consciousness.
