The other thing I think would need to happen with these upgrades would be for fan support to move upwards more slowly. If you're a very winning team, it's not all that hard to get 100% fan support after a couple seasons, so there would be no reason to buy the upgrades.

agreed. Things that are built now (especially in real life franchises) are meant to help in the future, take a shot right away, but get payoffs in the end.

I do agree that this would implement a lot of new content to the game, but I am sure that from Bort's point of view that this would be pretty complicated to just script out. He has stated that something like this is in the future, he hasn't been too specific on that though and I can't find anything on the Changelog Projects.

I agree in principle with more stadium options however anything that affects income level positively will only help to fuel the hyper-inflation the game is already seeing. Even with the maintainance costs (which if balanced would surely negate the point of the upgrade in the first place) it's effectively just adding more and more cash into a system which is already top-heavy.

true to an extent, some of it would be taking teams that have money to burn, and give them something to burn it with though.

for example, the Turf idea, it doesnt make people WANT to come watch the game, you dont GET money from it, instead you get a better performance out of your players.

or maybe the Roof Construction idea for a dome, it would cancel out Weather factors (when added down the road)

Weight room/equipment room (i think those are on here.... would also be an example of something to spend money on while helping team, owners will want to buy it with (yes much inflated) money.

also going with last note, a Sound System operation or Jumbo Tron, which would cost A TON of money to put in and maintain, but would help team in other ways than for just pleasing the crowd (ex: getting the crowd more into the game and help with momentum (when implemented) or such things as that)

and if you have that much money to spend, even if it doesn't help get you more money, some people will just buy it just to spend money, and to make the stadium sweeter.

just make it impossible to be able to spend ALL that money with the constructions, make it beyond what owners can pay. Or make it so there are so many options, and you can only add in so many at a time.

also maybe a rush time on stadium construction??????? if you want to build something to season during the season make it cost alot more??

another side idea (yea yea, 3 in a row)

make it so (when these come out) you can only do them several at a time? so there is diversity among the stadiums??

(like one team will focus on building up weight-room, player facilities, while other builds up more concession stands/bathrooms and such things to drive in more fan support, other builds turf to increase player performance)

With the idea of Maintenance Contracts, this might be able to help fix the GLB Economic Model. Rich teams usually have the larger Stadium and would have the ability to purchase some of the additions in the OP. With maintenance contract, they would have to pay more than the other teams.....hopefully therefor fixing the disparity.
