Neither is a good option. To be honest, I'd probably go with agility/vision even if you've already put points into agility.

hey mike, I have a str DE that I have converted, and I am trying the agility route. I have 75+agility and really like what I see, my question is, I have 10 sp, should I get my first step and TV to 6 or dump it into speed.

Attributes first will always be better in the long run, SAs first will almost always be better for production now. That said, tunnel vision is much better than first step imo, so if you're planning on putting a bunch of points into SAs they should probably most/all be in tunnel vision.

I was at 9 for a long time and am now maxed. The more the better for short term results as far as I'm concerned.

10 is the max for any SA, 11 with custom and I guess theoretically 15 with the new advanced equipment.

Vision is much too low to put points into. I would train intense agility + vision while dumping SP into speed up to 68. Then worry about putting points into agility and vision, and eventually tunnel vision.

I'm slow-building my DE and he's level 1, training on intense on speed & agility (his stamina is 15 with EQ so I'm not gonna train that anymore for a little while).

What do you suggest be done with the +1 attribute point you get by cashing in 4 bonus tokens? I dunno how many of these tokens you can save up. I know it's a bad idea to waste points into Stamina I'm sure, would it be worth it to put the +1 into speed, even though it would make training it be a bit slower because it would be higher?

Someone might have already said this, I haven't read all the posts. Way to many. First of all Julius Dee is a great player 90+ sacks speak for themselves. Obviously it is his speed that gets the job done. If you take a look at my player Julius Pepper who was second in the conference after Julius Dee in sacks with 46 you will notice that major difference is hurries. I had 30 some hurries Dee had less than 5 I think. You can see that his speed makes all the difference. Although his speed allows more sacks and I am working on getting my speed to the elite level. It is close to 70 the big advantage I have over dee is my strength. I don't have insane strength, but with my strength and agility levels I can take on double teams on the left side and make plays against the run on the strong side if I need to. Our DC switches me around and I have played RDE, LDE, OLB, and DT. In all of these place I have been able to make plays although lb is ideal. Anyway agian basically i think softcapping strength gives you a good advantage from all positions and makes you less one dimensional when it is combined with super high agility and good speed. As far as SAs go you can't improve upon the info miked33 has given. Both of these builds works great and Julius Dee is a helluva a player.

I had 13 sacks last season, but in my 1st game this season, I couldn't bet around the LT. What should I work on?

What level are you?

Your build is similar to mine and I'm starting to crank out tackles and sacks this season. Our STR and SPD are identical. I have a few more points in AGI (67).

The big difference is SAs.

I have 2-2-2-0-0 in Containment and 5-5-6-6-1 in Pass Rushing. Hard to say which ones make the most difference, but I suspect Strong Base works in conjunction with Shed Block nicely to get past blockers quickly.

I'd probably get your Pass Rush tree to look more like mine, working in a point or two of AGI where you can. Train AGI and/or Tackling.
