I can understand the Sprite vs. dots thing, It took me a few months to get used to it. I also didn't like that the plays went east-west instead of north-south.

I still wish they went with triangles. That way the point above the position would be the direction the player was facing, then you'd see some cool stuff like triangle spins.

I have a question about the forums though. Really looking at both of them right now and I can't really see too much of a difference. What is it visually about the GLB2 forums that are unappealing?

Color scheme seems pretty much the same to me. Minor differences in detail like a blue banner at the top of each page, and the top right of each post has different color buttons and a the green/red +- things. Finally the page banners are different but it's not like either one is painful to look at.

sure, but then you still have to do that every time, plus on most browsers it loves to cascade view settings across your tabs.

the easy solution is just to use glb1 forums except for glb2main

I still don't understand why they completely separated both forums. They could have just had 2 different sections for each game in one forum.

But things are the way they are now, no use in complaining about it.

Pretty much everything about the GLB2 forums are unappealing in comparison to GLB1. And the mobile version of the site are easily the most unforgivable things about the site. The replays actually grow on you once you understand what is going on and watch it a lot.

But ya from just a posting perspective....the other site sucks balls.
