this is what I got from this thread:
1-game is no longer profitable so no more updating/evolving/adapting/improving is worth their investment.
2-no more updating/evolving/adapting/improving was done so game became no longer profitable.

So a game, that would require updating/evolving/adapting/improving in order to remain successful and enjoyable, was neglected by a poor business decision or possibly laziness. The users who have purchased effective playing time in the game are now told their investment becomes more useless everyday because the developers have quit with new priorities elsewhere.
I want to mention that just because flex can be utilized across the WGG platform doesn't mean I have any interest in spending my time in any of those others games and that allowance some how makes up for the abandonment of development for this game.
Also utilizing the example of how many years of support and or development for other games as a reason to provide support for the lack of any improvement here is lame. The structures of different games, companies, businesses are not the same and shouldn't be bluntly compared as alleged apples to apples comparisons.
In the end the business decision is WGGs to make regarding GLB1. I think the appropriate thing would be to come out and indicate some transparity regarding the lack of any future GLB1 development, no suggestion implementation etc. It hasn't happened because they still want you to buy every last piece of flex they can squeeze out of you, but I believe that ethically that would be the right thing to communicate.
