I realize the obvious answer is "who the hell is going to do all that?" but thats kind of my point. If you just found this game today, who would you PM your questions to, when you don't know what (or who) you don't know?

I am not saying it is right. I am just recognizing what it pretty much is. Generally if I see someone with a serious question in FAQ I will direct them via PM to either my private forum or the DC one as those will be infinitely more helpful to them and get them going in a good direction rather than deciphering some of the misguided knowledge out there.

Getting those spreadsheets in order to get the maximum amount of speed, etc. Yeah, maybe some people could squeeze out some more efficiency, the game is far from having the sense of wonder that all games have at first.

It doesn't matter than not every single person knows every single detail, once the collective hivemind knows everything, the sense of discovery is mostly gone. There's less "wonder how much this attribute helps this interaction?" and more spreadsheets mapping out the perfect build plan.

Tell Bort to let us reverse the trade in and be able to swap a skill point for 15 BT's...so I can fully max out the equipment on my old guard.

inb4 somebody tells me why that would bork the game horribly because of some overlooked minutiae.

SIDEBAR....To reverse that cycle, give the leagues a reason to get active via scripted rankings, scripted news stories based on some simple criteria (which the user base could likely help define), etc. that would be auto-posted to the respective league forums. I have felt for awhile now that GLB's flex investment in mods would be better spent on those who actively make places like the league forum and FAQ better. In the league forums things like previews and rankings greatly increase the forum participation and the entertainment derived. In FAQ a few dudes who run quality threads and answer a ton of questions. As of right now you have to know who to PM, and that is not as readily available. Its free to GLB, requires no new work on the game, and greatly improves a main component.
