Congratulations Assau. You guys were one of the very few who had the balls to try, and the only team who could strip our preseason champ crown.

yet you still can't spell their name.

I'm pretty sure that's the approved alternate spelling.

Take a look at the Pro Tournament bracket. I know that seeding it would take too much time and still be subjective, but holy cow it goes from loaded at the top to crap at the bottom.

It's definitely not done "fairly". I don't mean that GLB intentionally screws a team, but by not putting any thought into the seeding, you end up with top tier WL teams playing each other early (like Grand Banks and the Duckies), some teams play WL teams every round (my team has and looks like they will continue to play WL teams every round until we lose or win the whole thing), and then other teams don't play a WL team until very late in the tournament (ATKRM has not faced a WL team, and would not until 2 rounds from now at the soonest).

But it has been that way forever, so it is what it is I guess.

GG ripping us apart btw. Pretty sick performance.

Would have been closer if you gameplanned. It's just weird that almost all the good teams ended up at the top of the bracket.

I started a suggestion about it. Feel free to add to it or plus one it or whatever.

to me..that is the good thing about the GLB tourney. If you want to win it, you might have to work for it, also early.

If there was a feasible seeding then the top teams would just walk through the early rounds on auto, this way the smaller teams have a chance to get some Ws as well - if you are in the easy half, good for you, you would still have to beat the battletested team going through the top half

Boo hoo for the garbage teams. Get better. No decent tournament any where in life uses a non-seeded format. Many GLB agent ran tournaments use APV for ranking...but using GLB's own ranking system for their own tournament which also generates a little more coin for GLB makes too much sense. It will make the ranking system more accurate by adding an incentive to play more ranked scrims. Anyone who disagrees either had their own agenda or is short sighted.

I disagree
Boo hoo to the good teams that cry when the lose, bc they dont want to gameplan

It will hardly hurt GLB to allow some pro teams to get a little extra meaningful action

It's not a big deal, I agree. But if they wanted to seed by GLB team rankings that would be better.
